Shawn Mendes *POV*
After dinner, I guided Katie to my room. Nothing about it had changed, but she took it all in as if it was new, something she thought she'd never see again. She smirked as she moved to the desk that sat by the window, seeing a photo that we'd taken together on our first date.
Yawning, she moved to sit on the bed. "You can stay the night..." I offered, "in fact, I was planning on it."
"Okay. Sounds good, except..." she trailed off embarrassed.
"Except?" I raised my eyebrows.
"I didn't bring a change of clothes," she stated sheepishly.
"That's not a problem," I said, throwing her an oversized hoodie. "Shower's in there," I nodded to the bathroom door, "feel free to use it."
"Thanks, I think I will."

Katie Mitchell *POV*
As I stepped into the warmth of the shower, the tension in my shoulders was released and I breathed a breath of relief. I quickly finished, shutting off the water valve, and changing into the hoodie Shawn had given me. It sank to about mid-thigh.
Sighing, I stepped into the bedroom, seeing Shawn asleep under the covers. I joined him, moving closer to the warmth emanating from him. I planted a couple kisses on his neck and forehead before beginning to pull away. Before I could, however, Shawn moaned, wrapping his arm around me tightly. "Stay," he whispered.
I didn't argue.
