A TEARDROP STREAMED DOWN HER FACE without her knowing it.

She couldn't accept the fact that someone close to her who deserves to be protected only to be treated like shit would end up dying few days later.

No matter how strong you're showing in the outside, doesn't mean the inside is too.

People would show that everything is okay but really they aren't and it would pressure them even more.

Inside Yeon's mind, she just wanted to cry all her heart out but her body isn't obeying her.

The teardrop that managed to come from her eyes, slid all the way down to her chin until it finally decided to fall onto the carpet floor beneath her.

Mr.Han quickly noticed that anytime more and more would come showing however, no more came.

He took note of that and sighed.

A parent knows their children more than anyone. He knew that inside she was tearing apart but she wasn't showing it.

Silence formed inside the room and it was a very awkward one as well.

During the middle of silence, one of his secretory knocked quietly on the door and opened.

He was very tall but slim as his masculine arms hold a pile of countless papers.

Han Ryung is his full name.

Nobody but his own daughter can call him by his first name. Everyone else address him as 'Mr.Han or sir' but nothing else.

The boy looked very young, mostly in the early-twenties.

He wore a lanyard which holds a card with his face and name 'Mr Kim' written on it.

On the corner of his smile, showed dimples.

Everyone immediately knew he is a very kind gentleman as soon as they see him.

Ryung looked up from his soft teared daughter to face the man with a small serious smile.

"Do you need anything Mr Kim?" He eyed the boy to which he nodded.

He walked towards the front of his desk and placed the pile of papers on it.

After doing that, he knew the sign to just stand and wait to be dismissed.

The girl's father reached out a paper from the top and looked at it silently before turning his face back.

"Ah, I need that. Thank you very much Mr. Kim, you're dismissed." The boy nodded and bowed sincerely, a welcoming smile on his face.

He walked past Yeon and with that, he left the office.

The room immediately became quiet again.

Ryung looked at the clock to see that his break was already over and he needs to resume with that difficult case he got.

He was stopped when he looked at his daughter again but this time, her face was down looking at her lap with face drenched with horror.

Sighing again, he knew that moving her out wasn't that hard.

He had no choice but to talk to her through it.

"Urm, Yeon-ah..." His voice was soft and gentle. He couldn't open his mouth to say more when a ringtone began to play.

The ringtone was playing nyan cat as Yeon took her phone out to see that someone was calling her.

Inside Ryung's head, he was relieved that the awkwardness was already over.

"A-Are you gonna get that?" He questioned and she nodded.

She jumped out the chair, making her way back to the door when she turned around with a smile.

"Goodbye father, good luck with your case." He nodded in return.

"Make sure you're home when I come back, I have things to talk about." Yeon looked at him with a bit of shock but quickly hid that and nodded. Her father smiled softly at her then she walked out to take her call.

Just by looking at the caller ID, she already knew who it was, her best friend.

"What do you want Ho-"

"Yeon! What took you long?!" The voice across the call was loud but enough for only her to listen.

"Oh, sorry about that. I was with my father." She apologised and waited for the reason of this call.

There was silence on the other side.

"So, why are you calling?" Asking hesitantly for him to remember what the call meant in the first place.

The voice came back on the other side when he finally remembered.

"Oh right! Did you hear about the case this morning?" As soon as the word 'case' rang inside her head, tears starts to form just by remembering that someone who is an angel would die.

The sunshine stopped and hears sniffling from across the phone, questioning if he had done something wrong.

"Yeon, is there something wrong?" There was a pause before hearing her voice but it was more croaked.

"C-Can I come to your house?" He immediately knew that whatever was the reason for her crying, she needed him.

"Okay." He didn't hesitate whereas Yeon softly smiled at his answer which right now, he couldn't see.

The call was about to end when she spoke something else into his ears.

"Thank you, Hobi."

She pressed onto the end call and made her way to his house.
