Walk by me

Sam tried to stop the bleeding by pressing down his shirt on the wound.  It didn't change the fact Dean  was losing blood. Cas saw his trickster of a brother swim up next to him.

" hey a Casey.... And Sam. " he took in the scene and immediately went to help.  " You do know we can heal"

Cas looked almost furious. " yes WE can heal but they can't "

" no no,  Cas, we can heal them "

This was news to Cas. " I don't know how"

" I do " with that Gabriel spread his hand over the wound.  The veins around the wound became prominent. The circle of veins around the wound seemed to be sucking in blood as the bullet was being risen. The flesh was tying itself back together, pushing the bullet out.  The bullet had now popped out and the skin where the wound was supposed to be was clean. It was like nothing had happened but Dean's eyes were still closed.

Sam had watched, eyes widening with awe. This all faded when he saw Dean's eyes were still shut tight. " why won't he open his eyes?" Sam asked quietly as if he was scared of the answer.

"maybe he needs a true love kiss to wake him up"

" Gabriel this isn't a joke" Cas declared his voice rough from crying.

" No I'm serious. Well at least try it. Doesn't hurt to try right" he looked between the two. Sam was still trying hard not to loose what little control he had. 

Cas wasn't sure but Gabriel did know more than him. Maybe it really doesn't hurt to try. 

He brought his head down. Feeling the warm breath on his face. He always wondered what it would be like to feel those lips on his. With the his pressed his lips against Dean. At first scared to do anything else but the world faded away and all Cas could feel were Dean's lip. The soft full lips. He began to kiss him slowly feeling the soft lips begin to move as well.  It was slow passionate kiss. That left both craving more.

As Cas pulled away Dean tried to capture  his lips again but failed. Looking at those blue eyes noticing how Cas' pupils dilated unaware his were the same.  Gabriel's voice cut in.

" what I tell you. True love kiss to wake up the sleeping beauty "

Sam laughed wiping the few tears that escaped. He saw Gabriel look at him with the same adoration as the night before.  Maybe just maybe he wouldn't mind.  He smiled at Gabe.  Just then Gabriel  lifted his eyebrow twice smiling mischievously making him blush all over again.

The boys said there goodbye as Dean leaned on Sam for support. Though Dean was healed he was extremely tired.  Leaning on Sam as they walked home for the first time he was glad that his brother was taller.

Sam had put Dean in his room. The moment Dean felt the bed under him he was deep in slumber.

Sam took this moment to look over the book again. Why did it end in the middle? Where could the other be? The thoughts ran in Sam's head. That's when he saw Dean's phone.  A message from dad.

" I know you don't want to talk to me but I just need to say this..... I'm sorry. Not just for  today but for everything. Sorry won't make anything better but I want you two to know. I just wanted you two safe. For now I'm going to head out I won't be back anytime soon I don't even think I can even bring myself back at all.... Good bye Dean and Sam"

It ended with that. Dad had left them. It wasn't new but this time he left them saying  he might never come back. Maybe that's for the best. 

Sam walked out. Not knowing where he was going until he heard the familiar voice.

"moose"  Gabriel's voice brought him out the trance. He saw the mer leaning on a rock. Sam sat down next to him sighing.  "what something wrong with dean?"

"No it's not him" Sam said looking away.  " dad left us maybe forever and I still can't help dean. I don't know, Gabriel"

Gabriel looked at Sam, placing his hand on his. Unconsciously intertwining their fingers.  "what's stopping  you from helping him?"

Sam squeezed Gabriel's hand. " I found a book that could help Dean and Cas be together but it just ends in the middle of a sentence "

Gabriel looks at Sam with wide eyes. That book was his. He wrote it but ended in the middle of the sentence to make people mad. Who knew that same book would bring such a gift. "I've got good news for you. I wrote that book. "

" what really?" sam looked at him to see if he was joking he wasn't. " well how can those two be together?"

" simple Cas walks."  Gabriel said this with a shrug.

"but how?" asked sam intrigued.

" it's biological our legs are hidden within  the tail. We shed the tail and walla legs"

As he said this he stood up shedding his tail revealing his legs and of course what was between them. Sam couldn't take his eyes off him. He just kept looking. 

" take a picture it'll last longer" Gabriel sad winking.

Sam looked away smiling.  Gabriel seemed to be bringing only good news. This brought sam to hug him forgetting about Gabe's nakedness.

Sam pulled away Blushing. " I have to tell Dean. " with that he walk off smiling like an idiot.

Dean woke feeling more relaxed.  He strolled around the house finding his phone and John's message. After hearing the message he didn't feel all that sad. This was better for everyone.

After a while Sam practically ran in.  " Dean" he said when he saw his brother wrapping him in a bear hug. 

Sam saw the phone in his hand and tried to say something but Dean cut in. " It's for the better for everyone "

Sam silently agreed. Remembering why he had ran home. " Dean, you and Cas can be together.  Cas can shed his tail and be here with us. " he was so excited to tell his brother.  He silently added " so can Gabriel "

Dean smiled. This was the best news he had all day.  He hugged his brother thanking him.  " when are you going to ask Gabe  out huh?"

"soon" Sam smiled at his brother. 

Tomorrow will be a good day for both brothers.
