Prince!Ashton was well loved around the kingdom for his big heart and happy attitude. He was often seen at the kingdom's orphanage, reading, teaching, or playing with the little kids. Ashton loved helping and giving back to the country his family ruled over. He was lucky enough to be born into the family he was, and he believed that he could help others who were less fortunate. Every Sunday Ashton went to help at the local soup kitchen, bringing food from the palace kitchen, handing it out to those who arrived, and hanging out with you, his love, who also went to help. And that is what he was planning on doing today. But what he didn't know was that there was a princess from a nearby kingdom visiting and the food would have to be taken without him. Of course he was bummed that he wouldn't get to see you this week, but he had the duties of the oldest son to tend to. When the princess arrived, Ashton was a gentleman and offered to give her a tour around the palace. He recalls her not being excited about this. "Don't get your hopes up. Just because you're giving me a tour doesn't mean I like you, I don't date the help. I'm only here for the prince" Well, she obviously didn't know who he was, and now, he didn't really want to know who she was either. "I wouldn't get your hopes up then." he knew it was a low blow but he couldn't help it. "Do you know who you're talking to? You cannot speak to a princess like that. Oh my god. When I become queen of this kingdom you will be banished. Forever." She was yelling now. Oblivious to the fact that she had insulted him. But Ashton could be the bigger person, he showed her to the room she'd be staying in for the remainder of the week. And on that note he decided he was going to the soup kitchen after his "meeting" with the princess ended so quickly. When he arrived he immediately began looking for you. "Well, well, well, look who decided to finally show up." he heard you giggle. "I'm sorry, I had to meet with the princess and give her a tour of the palace." He saw your smile falter a bit. "Oh, the one your parents want you to marry? Was she nice?" He didn't like this. He needed you to know that he would forever love you, not her. "I only need you. I only want you. I promise."
