"Exciting news this morning! Last night the new princess arrived at 7 pounds and 4 ounces! And we're told the king and queen have named her Penelope! Stay tuned for pictures of the new edition to the Clifford family!" You heard the reporter say joyfully from the TV. She was currently reporting live from outside the hospital. You wondered if they knew you weren't in there, you had delivered the baby there but early in the morning had been transferred back to the palace. "I haven't even taken a picture of our child yet, how can they have pictures of her yet? She's like 8 hours old" Michael wondered out loud, looking down at his daughter who was sound asleep in his arms. "I don't know, but if they do show a picture of her, someones getting yelled at" you replied, snuggling up to your husband and baby. "She's so precious, I haven't put her down since we got back. I just can't believe this is our daughter (Y/N). She's real, and we made her, I helped make this." He was admiring the small baby in front of him when you laughed. "Yeah Mikey I was there" you replied changing the station to another channel. Surprisingly, this station was also reporting on yours and Michael's baby. Luckily, like Michael wanted, none of the news stations displayed pictures of your newborn. Michael wanted the first time people saw her to be when you were both ready.

A week after she was born, reporters were still asking for you two to do an interview like you had right after your wedding. Eventually Michael caved and said yes, deciding that it was time to introduce the kingdom to their new princess. "So Michael, (Y/N), is life a lot different since you've had Penelope?" she asked. "No, not really, we've only really had her for a week. But that week has been harder than taking care of a cat, like I thought it would be" he joked. Interviews were kind of new to both of you. Michael's parents only ever did interviews without him when he was younger, choosing to keep him out of the spotlight but still on stage. And you because, well, you weren't royalty until a few years ago. "And are we going to see the princess today?" She hinted. "Yeah, actually, I'll go get her now." You replied going to Penelope's room. When you got back, you didn't get to hear what they were talking about, but by the smirk on Michael's face, you knew it was something amusing. "Oh she's so cute! Hi Princess Penelope!" The reporter cooed as the camera panned over to your daughter. "So (Y/N), Michael and I were just talking about kids and how he already wants another" she said as he took her out of your arms. "Oh was he?" you said as you looked at him making funny faces at your daughter who probably couldn't comprehend what was happening.

As the interview came to a close, you thanked the reporter as Michael took Penelope back to bed. When he got back to your room, he enveloped you in a hug from behind. "So about having another kid..." he started "Michael, your daughter is a week old, we're waiting at least a month before we even think about that." You laughed getting into bed.

But 4 months later, no one was surprised to hear the news reporting that Penelope was going to be a big sister in a few months.
