Korean idol companies have come together to discuss a rumoured girl group sub-unit between these girl groups.

On Friday 17th August 2017 companies SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, MBK, Jelly Fish, WM Entertainment, Source Music, WM Entertainment, Star Ship Entertainment and Pledis made an official statement stating that 'On September 9th 2018, girl group sub-unit G.I.U (Girl Idol Unit) will be making their debut.)

Although we know when this unit is debuting, they have yet to reveal the unit's members. The most likely groups to be apart of this (says some Knetz) is Red Velvet, BLACKPINK, OH MY GIRL, GU9UDAN, TWICE, Pristin, DIA, WJSN and GFRIEND. Do you agree? Who do you think will be in this hot girl unit?
