Episode 46: Prophecy
Scene to be performed:
(The enormous Mark of Scath is the only thing left standing in an area of ruins. Raven steps toward it, and Slade hops nimbly around in the background)
Slade: Tick-tock Raven. Time is running out.
(Raven looks wildly around for Slade)
Raven: I'm not afraid of you!
Take 1
"Action!" shouted the Director.
Raven stepped toward the giant Mark of Scath. Slade hopped nimbly about in the background and said, "Tick-tock Raven. Time is running out. It's Taco Tuesday!"
"Crap!" Raven cried. "I forgot to pick up my order of tacos from Taco Bell!" She rushed off the stage.
"Cut!" yelled the director.
Take 2
Before the shoot...
"Anyone want some tacos?" Raven asked walking onto the set. "I've got a whole bunch and I'm probably not gonna eat them all."
"I'll take some," said Slade. "I've got some extra sodas. Want a Coke?"
"Sure," said Raven.
Half an hour later...
"Action!" shouted the Director.
Raven stepped toward the giant Mark of Scath. Slade hopped nimbly about in the background and said, "Tick-tock Raven. Time is ru---" Suddenly Slade belched a long, loud burp. Raven started cracking up, and the other actors could be heard laughing all over backstage.
"C-c-cut! Hahahaha!" laughed the Director.
Take 3
"Action!" shouted the Director.
Raven stepped toward the giant Mark of Scath. Slade hopped nimbly about in the background and said, "Tick-tock Raven. Time is running ou--whoa! Whoa! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
Raven turned in time to see slade slip from the ruined building he had landed on and fall behind it. "Slade!" she shrieked.
"I'm okay!" Slade called back. "I landed on a huge pile of cotton balls."
"Good!" Raven said in considerable relief. "I'd be miserable if I lost my Taco Tuesday Buddy."
"Cut!" shouted the director.
