Hey babygirl

Chapter one

It's the first day at my new high school and already everybody thinks I'm a joke. To fully understand why I'll need to take you back to around 9am...

*Alarm beeping*

"Ugghhhh"

My hand reaches for the button from underneath the warmth of my covers and the room temperature was cold. I felt for the button managing to knock over a few things and groaning as I realize I'll need to get out of bed. I pop my head out of the covers and I look around my small room it has a few pictures on the wall with mythological creatures being all majestic. I look over to the fairy lights that I must have left on above a pin board in my room.

My mind starts drifting off as I am suddenly awaken by my mum knocking on my door shouting "Alex get up already or you'll be late for school..." She knows I won't get up till there's food involved so she adds on  "I've made pancakes too" and I look at the time it now being 9:20 I have 10 minutes to go to school I live a few blocks away so I will be late. Greeaaat I thought to myself.

I stumble out of bed while saying "alright I'm up" and I wander over to the mirror and look at my over all state. I look like I've got dragged through a bush I thought to myself as I looked at my messy untamed hair.

Getting ready for school I put on my uniform, a white almost see through shirt, a skirt with black tights and my green tie which it required. And I go back to the mirror do my slightly pink hair in my usual messy bun.

When I'm finally looking alright I grab my bag and go downstairs to see my step dad and my mother arguing with my step brothers running around playing with toy cars. My mum looks over and says "oh Alex you look cute" and I curtsey and smile while saying "morning guys" and my step dad seems annoyed that his opinion didn't matter much.

I sit at the table and look at the time. "Shit!! It's 9:35 I'm late"
"Watch your language" my mum says
"Dammit sorryyy and thanks for breakfast but I need to go" then I head for the front door.
"Byeeeeee Hun"

It was lunch and today has literally been hell. As soon as I got half way down the road I dropped all my stuff... How? I actually don't know. And if that wasn't bad enough I got to school late asf and had to go into my first class with everyone looking at me. As I say "sorry I'm kinda now here" the teacher comes over and puts his arm around me and says "alright class this is Alex she's new here".

I struggle to find a nice person to sit next to but I look over at the corner I see a boy with black and blue hair and he's smiling at me and he pulls out a chair so I smile back feeling kinda flattered and walk over to sit next to him for the class.

This is my first book I'm sorry if it's bad but I was hoping it will be liked by someone 😂😂
