Hunger Games Twist

9 - 12 - 2015: These Hunger Games Twists are very old (nearly two years old) and please don't judge them harshly (because they are pretty terrible). Thanks!

Katniss's father died when she was three so Katniss never learnt to hunt. She never became friends with Gale because she never met him in the forest. When it was time for the reaping and Prim was reaped, Katniss never volenteered. 

Prim was sent to the Capitol and Katniss watched her from the saftey of the small, wooden house in District 12. Prim was known as The Girl On Fire. She and Peeta never had a strong relationship. She became friends with Rue and had decided to become allies even before the Hunger Games even started. She only learnt the basics of surviving. Food, fire and traps. She wore the cute dresses that Cinna made for her. She went to the interviews and talked to the crowd about her stories from her young childhood.

By the time it was time for Peeta's interview, Prim had hardly even talked to him. When he revealed his love for Prim, she was so surprised and worried as she knew Katniss had a crush on Peeta and if he loved her.... 

When the Hunger Games had just started, Rue ran for the forest, protecting Prim on the way there. Prim was so scared and curled up into a ball as soon as they reached the entrance of the forest. She screamed and cried. Rue knew if she didn't leave now, they would both die. So, she left Prim and ran away, deeper into the forest. Prim finally saw the danger she was in and manged to get herself up and get herself to wobbley run deeper into the forest to saftey.

She ran until she was crying so much that she couldn't see anything. She hit a tree and fell onto the muddy, soil ground with a thud. She wanted to go home and see her mother and most of all, Katniss. She tried to focus on what was important. She could try and find Rue.. No. Rue had abandond her and would of let her die from the Careers. She needed to find or make a weapon. Get food. Set traps. But she didn't know how to make a weapon, let alone use one.
