"Wake up! Wake up Ally!! WAKE UP"
I woke up to my little brother Jake jumping on my bed.
I laughed. "Guess what day it is today!" Jake practically screamed.
"Hmm... I don't know.. What day is it
Jakey?" I asked pretending not
to know. "CHRISTMAS!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. I smiled, It made me over joyed seeing him happy. "Oh I think theres also another reason today is special." My mother said walking in my bedroom. "Happy Birthday sweetie." My mother said hugging me. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLY!" My brother screamed. Tears came to
my eyes, My family have never been this happy since my father passed.. Jake quickly grabbed my hand and ran dragged me down the stairs to the living room. I gasped at what was in front of me. Cake, Presents, Cookies we baked last night. "MOMMY CAN WE OPEN THE PRESENTS" Jake screamed happily
"Go for it" My mother said calmly taking a photo. Jake quickly assorted the presents in sections. One section for presents that
are mine and one for his, Another for presents we bought for Mom.
Jake tore open his presents and was over joyed. I opened all of mine.
We looked at Moms pile, Untouched. I looked at Jake "Go!" I said excitedly. He ran his little legs over to the presents, He grabbed one
and handed it to Our Mother.
It was from me. She opened the
presents and tears came to her eyes. "Oh Alison..." She smiled with tears falling off her cheeks. It was a photo of all of us.. Me, Jake, Mom, And.. Dad. Mom smiled as me and Jake comforted her. "Get dressed kids, Let's go see daddy." She smiled, I couldn't tell how she was feeling exactly. Her face showed a mixture of happiness and sadness.. I hugged her gently. "I love you Mom." I said quietly.
