Chelsca makes her steps doubles to get into her class on time.
The bell rang just the moment she entered the audio room.
That was close! She sighed.
"Girl, where have you been?" Anna asked right away the moment she reached her seat.
"Why you'd asked? You knew already." She whispered in her ear. Anna giggled.
"So how was the weekend?" Lydia turns her head to gossip with them.
Chelsca rolled her eyes. She can't believe they became her friends.
The three girls around her giggles including May Lin.
"Did you enjoy our birthday present to you?" Keida wink at her, seated above them.
Chelsca looked over her shoulder.
"I can't believe you all my friends!" She stressed out.
Chelsca wanted to continue but their prof already in front of the room and began discussing their lesson, without a greeting to his class.
The old prof was known that way anyway.
The first class ended so her friends continued teasing her.
"Hurry up, tell us what happened!" Anna asked excitedly.
"Stop! I don't want to talk about it! I have my next class! See you all later, okay?!" Chelsca leaves her friends immediately. They will never stop teasing her if she stayed longer.
She walks without looking around her. She actually has no interest in checking out everyone's faces she meets on the campus.
She is not interested in every popular guy at the university. Or care about those rich girls every now and then changing their car and bags. Not to mention that designer clothes.
All she cared about is not to bump someone in the hallway or in the campus pathway. There's a lot of crazy students like the basketball team or the rugby boys who think they own the school ground. She just rolled her eyes behind those glasses.
Yeah. That's me. The ordinary girl on the campus. Wearing baggy clothes, ordinary shoes, books around my arms, messy hair, and thick glasses.
