chapter 2 - the meet and greet

*britts POV*

the meet and greet would be at westfield shopping center in central sydney, we decided this wasnt in walking distance from our hotel so we called a taxi, it arrived within 10 minutes, and so we were on our way.. the duration of the journey was spent in silence, i think this is because we was both so nervous, althought we were able to check our hair in the wing mirrors of the taxi every few minutes. secretly i could see laurens hands shake, and i was shaking my knees so it was pretty obvious i was nervous too. 15 minutes later we arrived at the shopping center, we paid the taxi driver and strolled in, we was in awe, it was so big! i was positive we would get lost, but all we had to do was follow the line of screaming girls and we knew we were close. there must have been around 1,000 girls queuing in front of us and il admit when we were standing there we were close to giving up hope that we would ever meet them, surely it wouldnt be possible to meet all these fans in one day? about half an hour later the queue started to move, and i swear we havent ever moved so quick in our whole lives. As we continued to move forward, girls, crying their eyes out, screaming, giggling and all sorts, were passing us who had obviously just had their time to meet the boys. me and lauren gave one single look to eachother, because we knew in not too many moments time, we would most probably be one of them girls..

*1 hour later*

"you alright girls?"

we were so close now we could hear their voices and soon enough, our time had come. the only thing lauren said to me before we got to them was

"act. casual."

so we did. we walked over to the table with confidence, not arrogance, and flashed our dazzling smiles which we had not so long ago been practising. skip was at the beginning of the table,

"hi ladies"

he said to us, but the little nudge he gave jai didn't go unnoticed. I knew Lauren must have been freaking out inside as jai had always been her favourite, whereas i couldn't keep my eyes off of luke. me and lauren both said

"hey"

we wanted to keep as calm and casual as possible. as our t-shirts got passed down the table to be signed from skip to jai to beau to luke and finally to james, i noticed lauren and jai exchanging shy looks, i smiled to myself, whilst debating whether i should smile at luke, it wasnt until i was opposite him that i realised he was already staring at me whilst playing with his lip ring. when our t-shirts had been signed by james, we collected them and with a final thankyou and quick glance to our boys we flounced off, not wanting to seem too eager.. but when we turned the corner, fully aware we were out of sight, we let out our screams, resulting in lots of funny looks from passers by, but we didnt care, we were so happy! when we finally calmed down we decided to make the most of our day and shop!

"hey i saw jai look at you.."

"noo! dont be silly, but i saw luke looking at you"

" HA i wish"

we laughed and thought how funny it would be if they were actually interested in us..
