I hope that you would come across my feelings through this letter one day. So, here's how this little story goes.

When I just stepped into my adolescence and learned a little about love-crush feelings, I met you. Yes! You were the first person who made my heart skip a beat and clenched my stomach with the adrenaline rush.

Back in school, you were 2 years senior to me. However, in my heart, you were just a crazy, naughty guy who used to pull off pranks yet got saved by that delusional decent smile, putting everyone else but you in trouble. Do you know I always used to know the real culprit behind those pranks but chose to stay quiet just to save you? I am sure, you never knew that.

You had been the topper of your batch. Though our fields were different, yet I wanted to score more than you so that you could remember me as your younger yet potential competitor. However, you still nailed it and I lost from you in my own competition.

How naïve I was!

Then our paths got separated, you moved to college and I moved to high school. We couldn't get a chance to talk ever.

Neither did I ever expect to see you again until you sent me a friend request on social media after 7 years. That was a surprise for me. My one-sided feelings were always hidden still, you remembered me for this long.

Wow! Dude. I am happy to see you as a grown up businessman with wonderful looks and great intellect.

But I would like to tell you that you're late. I am not single anymore. My heart is occupied with someone worthy. And I love that person very much. It's his love only which made me realize that you were nothing more than a forgotten crush.

You truly held a part of my heart for a while when I stepped into adolescence but I am a grown up now.
