The New Inmate

Wentworth Prison is a dangerous place. Shit goes down, shit that you wouldn't imagine. The ex governor is in prison, there are plenty of dangerous people ready to dine on some fresh meat. Keli was living the life of a normal 23 year old girl, work during the day, sleep during the night, and party on a weekend. She didn't think that after one night of getting lit, that she would end up in prison the next day.
Keli Tristan was at a birthday party, celebrating her friends 26th birthday. Her friend was popular, and knew a lot of people. Someone who was at the party was looking to seek revenge on Keli, for a past encounter that almost ruined her life. Keli has no idea this person is here. As everyone is out at the pool in the house drinking and celebrating, a sneaky hater begins her revenge. She sees a drunk man lying on the couch. She straps on some gloves, and grabs a knife, Keli had used the knife to cut the birthday cake, and this girl knew. Her whole plan was to commit a murder, and frame Keli. She succeeded. The man on the couch was stabbed with the very same knife, putting Keli's DNA all over it. As the killer used gloves, and managed to not get any of her DNA on the knife.
Now Keli is sent to Wentworth, where she will serve her time.

Keli is escorted out of the white van. She hears the prison gates shut as she looks to the left. Keli begins to look up. She sees the tall brick walls where she was about to spend the next 8 years of her life.
There to greet her, was Vera Bennett, current governor. "Welcome to Wentworth." Says Vera. Mrs Miles, one of the officers, (Smilez) begins to escort Keli to her block.
"This is where you will be staying. Make yourself at home!" Says Smilez. "Phhht. Home? You can't call this place a home." Says Keli. "Well, it will be your home for the next 8 years." Smilez Says with a smirk, before she leaves the block.
Another inmate walks in. It appears to be Liz. "Oh hello there dear, what's your name?" Liz says. "Uuuum, I'm Keli. You?" "You can call me Liz. Yeah, this place is scary once you first arrive, but you will get used to it, haha." Liz says with a laugh. "I Donno I feel so outta place..." Keli replied. Liz began to explain the basic rules to Keli, before showing her around.
Liz is about to finish showing her around. "...and this is the exercise yard" she says as she walks Keli out to the h1, and h3 yard. Keli looks over and sees another prisoner look over her way. Keli begins to look down, she felt scared, and uncomfortable knowing that most of the prisoners where eying her up. They begin to walk to the basketball court.

Franky turns around and sees Keli. She goes to greet her. "Hey, new girl, I haven't seen you around here. What's your name" "Hi..." Keli smiles. "My names Keli, what's yours?" "I'm Franky. Nice to meet you, it's sucks that your here." Keli laughed and said "tell me about it." Franky smiles and turns back to the ball game. Keli loves basketball, and all though she was shy, she wanted to try and fit in. "Hey, Franky!" Franky turns around. "Can I join?" Keli said. Franky smiles and throws Keli the ball. "Show me what you got." One thing none of the prisoners expected was the new girl to drop them of on basket ball 😉
She begins to bounce the ball, with Franky playing defence ready to stop Keli in her tracks to score the ball. Keli begins to dribble the ball, she plans to cross the defender over to reach her goal. Keli was really good at the sport, and started to have other prisoners startled by her skills. She bounced the ball between Franky's legs and makes her way around to the other side to bounce the ball again, then did a behind the back crossover and made Stella fall on her ass, she then drove to the paint to dunk the ball. Franky looked behind her as she seen Stella fall and Keli dunk the ball. She was immediately impressed. "Next time, you can be on my team, allright?" Franky said as she smiled at Keli. Keli began to blush. "Yeah, maybe I can teach you some of my tricks" she replied.

Exercise yard was beginning to close up for the day, the prisoners headed back to their units. Keli began to interact with her other cell mates, Allie, Doreen and boomer. She was explaining her situation to them and getting on well with them. Then Franky walks in. "Oh there she is! The basketball queen! Haha. Why do you look a little like Allie tho? 🤔😅" Says Franky. Keli laughs. "I have no idea. That's wierd, I do... but enough about that Franky, you wanna tell them how I crossed you over in basketball ? 😉😅" Franky shakes her head with a smile. "Yeah yeah, you guys should of seen Stella. She made her fall on her ass. It was hillarious😂" the cellmates began to laugh. As Mr. Jackson (will) shut the gates to the unit, the prisoners began to walk back into their cells. Keli sits on her cell bed and looks around. She begins to frown. 💭man, I can't believe I'm stuck in this place. I am surprised the prisoners are being nice to me.💭 she thinks, as she sits there in her thoughts. 💭 I need to be careful, all of these people are here for a reason💭
Franky walks in...

"Hey. You good?" Keli turns to Franky... "meh. Not really.. how did you feel when you first walked through those gates?" Franky looks at her sadly with her big beautiful eyes. "Yeah, not good. So... what are you doing here anyway?" Keli looks at her with a nervous look on her face. "Well, I was framed for murder. I don't know if I'll ever get out of here." Franky looks around. "Yeah, hah, I know how you feel. I spent a few years in this place, then got a taste of freedom. I was also framed for murder, and now I'm here doing whatever it takes to find the real killer, and get the fuck out."
"Really? You too?" Says Keli. "Yeah, maybe you should do the same. Don't get too comfortable here, always have your guard up. This place is a shit whole filled with serial killers and psycho paths. You gotta watch your back. Be staunch, and do what you got to do to survive." Keli's eyes lit up, "Well, one things for sure, this place is not comfortable, but, you are right. Thanks for the advice."
Franky smiles and says "your welcome" and walks out the door.
