Ben and Holly: more than best friends

Chapter 2

Ben saw Holly fly into the house. "Why does that girl always come up with crazy idea's?" Ben thought. Suddenly, he heard a loud bang come from inside. 

"What was that?!" Lucy's friend Katie shouted.

"Let's go check," Yasmin said. Ben saw them go inside except for Lucy. "Lucy! Lucy! We came!" Ben whispered. "Huh?" Lucy said turning around. Holly flew next to Ben. "Oh hi Ben and Holly! I see you brought Amber, Emerald, and Keith with you." "Yes, we tried to get your attention and Hollywood came up with a great idea!" Ben said. "Thanks Ben!" Holly said. "Come in guys!" Lucy said. 

After a while, it was time to go. Ben, Holly, and Lucy said their goodbyes and Holly, Ben, Amber, Keith, and Emerald set of home. Ben had chocolate all over his face, and Holly had a cream moustache and the ladybirds were covered in cake. They laughed the whole way home. Then Ben saw light's and decoration everywhere, shade, the carpet, and lot's of other stuff. "Woah," They said in unison. 

The next day, Ben woke up early because he heard a sound. It was Holly, standing next to his bed. "What are you doing here Hollywood?" Ben asked. It's a nickname Ben made up for fun when they were kids. "I came to get you. They are having another contest today. Come on!" Holly said. And she magicked them into their suits. Ben was in a suit instead of his pyjamas and Holly was in the most beautiful dress Ben had ever seen. "You look nice," Ben said. "Thanks," Holly said blushing. All while Ben had a smirk on his face. They went to the contest and it was not the one next week. It was a contest for the royal dance or ball. Everyone lined up and the Wise Old Elf cleared his throat. "Today we will have a contest for who will sleep with who because the great elf tree and the little castle will not be used. Lets make pairs. The Queen and King, Mr.Elf and Mrs.Elf...

After finishing the old people pairs, it was the young adults turn. "Let's see, oh yes." (Clears his throat), "The young adult pairs are, Strawberry and Barnaby, Violet and Jake, that leaves... Ben and Holly!" Everyone cheered for the young adults. Ben and Holly looked at each other blushing red. Ben had a smirk on his face, while Holly was beaming. 

Some time later the roommates met up. Violet was the first one to speak out.

"Why did the Wise Old Elf shout happily when he said Ben and Holly!"

"I think I know," Barnaby said smirking at Strawberry.

"What?" Strawberry said blushing.

"Ben and Holly are in love!" Jake said teasingly. By now Ben and Holly were blushing the darkest pink. Now Ben realised what he was feeling inside. Love. Love for Holly. But he couldn't tell her. No, not yet, but maybe soon.
