"Fine.... but in a different room." I said

She smiled and nodded her head and hopping out of my truck.

"Follow me." She said closing the door.

She got in her car and nodded for me to follow her.

She pulled up to a 3-story house and parked in front of the front door.

I parked behind her and leaned over my steering wheel with my mouth open.

She walked to my door and opened it as I hopped out still staring in shock. She pulled me to the front door and jiggled her keys into the lock.

I followed her through the house taking it all in and bumped into her as she stopped in front of a room.

"Top floor views are best but I don't know how you are with heights." She said

"Heights are fine." I said caught up in my surroundings.

She chuckled and grabbed my arm, walking me upstairs.

Once we made it to the top floor she walked to the back of the hallway and opened the French doors.

"My mom stays here when she visits but she's vacationing for the year so." She said plopping on the bed.

I stood in the middle of the room and turned around to look at her.

"What fucking mechanic can afford this?" I asked

She chuckled and rubbed her neck.

"That's not important. Just know it's mine and now it's yours too." She said standing up.

I crossed my arms and stood there with my eyebrow raised as she sighed.

"I used to be a drug dealer but i stopped a long time ago after I had a grip of money stashed. Everything is legit now." She said

I scoffed and pushed her chest.

"You don't think that's something I should've known? I even fucking asked." I said frowning.

She sighed and grabbed my wrists.

I snatched away from her and turned around to walk away.

She stood up and grabbed my arm pulling me into her.

I struggled against her trying to get away.

"Don't leave." She said

"Nali let me go now." I said staring at her.

She sighed and let me go as I rubbed where she held my arms.

"Why didn't you tell me when I asked?" I said

She sat down and softly pulled me to her.

"I was afraid you'd run away if I did." She said pulling me onto her lap.

I looked away from her with tears in my eyes.

She kissed my neck and I moved away.

"Is that the only thing you hid Nali?" I asked wiping my cheek.

She nodded her head and leaned on me.

"Don't leave. I just don't want you to leave me." She said holding me tighter.

I hugged her and pulled her into me.

"Ok." I said

She pulled away and smiled.

"I'll take care of you." She said kissing my cheek.
