Outside was raining vigorously and the three of them brought the crying baby to the tree house in the forest behind Jenna's house. The thunder was so loud that they close their ears as soon as the deafening sound repeatedly came."What the heck are we doing?!" Carrie freaked out, walking around and closing the curtains.
"We are trying to save the freaking baby, OKAY?! Who the freak in their right freaking mind dared to dumped a freaking baby behind my freaking house?!?!" Jenna shrieked, carefully putting the baby on the bed.
"Let's just wake your mom up and call the cops, okay?" Stacy said, putting both of her hands on her head.
"GUYS! THE BABY IS FREAKING CRYING HER HEARTS OUT AND YOU'RE STILL COMPLAINING AND WHINING?! BE USEFUL AND HELP ME, OKAY?!?!" Jenna screamed.
At last, Cassie and Stacy sighed and stood along with Jenna. Cassie said, "Okay. Now what?"
"Go to the refrigerator and get a bottle of milk. Stacy? Go to my room and bring any shirt or whatever clothes you could find. Whatever you do... don't let my parents know anything weird is going on." Jenna said with her eyes fixed on them.
"Me? I thought I'm going to take care of the freaking baby!" Carrie crossed her arms.
The baby's crying got even more deafening and Jenna said to both of them who were annoyed at Jenna, "Please...? Okay. I'll give both of you the things we all promised back then."
"And?" Both of them smiled.
"Duh! Fine! The Goosebumps books! Okay?!" Jenna's face was full of annoyance.
The thunder struck loudly and the raindrops were hitting the roof like a million of comets hitting the surface of the earth. Carrie's and Stacy's worried looks were against Jenna's annoyed face.
The lights from the torchlight surrounded them in the jet-black atmosphere and the whistling wind breathed against Carrie and Stacy shivering bodies as they open the wooden door.
"If we die...?" Stacy asked, covering her face from the strong wind.
"We come back as a ghost and haunt Jenna for the rest of her life," Carrie answered, pulling Stacy's hand.
"That's great!" Stacy chuckled, following Carrie into the dark.

It was dark. It was gloomy. It was bitterly cold and the only place that was warm stood still in the middle of nowhere. Inside the house, there were two people sitting while facing the fireplace. The other one was dressed in denim jackets and her high-waisted jeans and the silhouettes of her combat boots lying on the floor. The one beside her was wearing his usual blue leather jacket.
"I never expected you to come. What's the probability in the countless sand you would come? I said to myself. Thinking and wondering every single night."
"Cut the crap, Sullivan. Tell me what you want and I will go home."
He smiled, a crooked smile, "You still the same Rose. Remember what happened back then?"
"We will not discuss that ever again. Discuss that and whatever you want from me I will decline. And I will never speak to you again."
"The choppers were gone. Do you hear the explosion? That strange green light in the sky? Did you saw it when you were coming here?"
"As a matter of fact, I saw it. The deal is what I came for, Sullivan. Say it or-"
"They're here. The Prodigy and The Chosen."
