Readers POV:

"So what a re you gonna do while you're having time to yourself?" Michael questioned.

"I don't know. Maybe I'll just try to widen out and meet some new people. Or maybe just do more things like this. What we are doing right now is so nice and peaceful...." I sighed.

"It is. It really is. You know, I hope this means we can spend more time together. I feel like ever since we've both been in relationships, we haven't had much time for just us." Michael said.

"I agree. I'm glad we can do this now." I responded.

"Me too. Let's go walk around." Michael and I both got up and began to exit the park.

We walked along barton springs, and then a bit downtown. It began to get dark, so we started to walk back to the car.

After a little while of walking, we reached the car and left.

"I didn't once think about Gavin or Ray..." I said out loud.

"Good. I'm glad I could make you forget." He winked.

The car ride was silent, but it was a good kind of silent. We drove home, and went back to Michael's house.

"Wanna stay over?" Michael asked as we got out of the car.

"Sure. I'll go grab some stuff from my house."

I walked to my house, got my clothes and then walked back to Michael's.

He lead me into his house, and then to his room. I went to a close by bathroom and then changed into comfortable clothes. I put on a black cutoff shirt and some baggy grey sweat pants. I but my hair into a braid, and then went back to Michael's room.

I walked in and he stopped to look at me. I watched his eyes explore my whole body.

"Ya know, even though you are in terribly unattractive clothes, you still manage to look beautiful." Michael said while making his bed.

"Thanks." I said blushing.

"Hey...we can sleep in the same bed now. I mean we don't have to worry about our partners to flip shit." Michael said with a smile.

"Yeah we could." I quickly jumped onto the bed, landing next to Michael. I picked up my phone and put in on the charger. It lit up, and I noticed I had messages.

Gavin: Hey there. I heard you and Ray are done with. I'm sorry. Come over and talk about it as friends?

Ray: Wanna hang out tomorrow? I just got some sweet games from game fly.

Ryan: I really want you to meet lari. When can we hang out?

Jack: Caiti and I are going to Barton springs tomorrow. Wanna come with?

I was about to reply to Gavin's message until I got one from Michael...

Michael: Put your phone away and pay attention to me stupid.

I looked over at Michael and he gave me a big smirk.

"Chill out man. I was just checking my messages." I said.

"From who?" he said as he got closer to me. He put his head on my shoulder to see what the messages were.

"Mm...well Gavin apologized for the break up, Ray wants to hang out, Ryan wants me to meet lari, and Jack wants me to third wheel with him and Caiti." I said as I locked my phone.

"So many offers. Which one will you pick?" Michael winked.

"I don't know. All of them sound soooo tempting." I said sarcastically.
