Chapter 1

Hey guys this is my first story hope you like it :)

Lucy's p.o.v

" cmon Lucy sweetie your gonna be late for school" I heard my mom yelling from the kitchen. "Okay mom I'm coming" I yelled back so she'd know I'm getting up.

My name is Lucy and I live with my family in New York. I have two older brothers, Jason and Mike, and an older sister, Ashley. You heard right , I'm the youngest. My siblings and I are super close and sometimes I would pick them over friends, even though they could be annoying at times.

Jason is married to Audrey, and they have two girls and I just love them so much.  What's funny is that Audrey and Ashley were best friends and that's how she fell in love with my brother, cheesy right. Ashley is a English teacher ,while Mike is in his second year of college. He's learning business. Today is my first day of college and I'm super nervous. All my friends decided to go their separate ways but I'm still in touch with one, Catherine. She is my rock and I love her so much, and luckily we just so happened to want to go to the same school, so we're still as close as ever.

"Ashley do you mind" I told my sister while she just barged in to my room. "Luce, I need you to do my makeup, I can't ever get my eyeliner on normally". I rolled my eyes,"fine, but if I'm late I'm blaming you", I gave her a fake stern look with a finger.
"Fine by me sis" she laughed.

After doing her makeup I finally was able to get dressed and decided to wear a floral dress and leave my long curly hair down while putting on some converse. I decided I also might as well put some mascara and eyeliner on.

I left my room and headed to the kitchen to eat with everybody. "Morning sweetie" my mom smiled while making some eggs. "Morning mom".
I sat down next to Mike and started have my eggs. Mike turned to look and me. "hey Luce, how'd you sleep?",he smiled.
"Ive had better nights" I smiled back at him, he knows I hate waking up early.

"Oh! By the way, Dylan might be coming over tonight, we seriously have got to hang out, i feel like I haven't seen the guy in years".
Years!....more like days, he just saw him last week, gosh you just can't separate the both of them. But I wouldn't mind having him over, seeing his beautiful light blue eyes, and amazing smile, and just imagine feeling that amazing soft hair and....wow I'm starting to sound creepy!

"Anyways, I just wanted to tell you just in case you wanted to get pretttty for himmmmm" he sang, and smushed his hands to his cheeks, "that would be so sweet!"

"Shut up Mikey!" I slapped his toned arm, gosh I hate that he works out, nothing I do hurts him.
He laughed and so did Ashley, gosh I hate when they tease me.

"One day you guys will pay!" I told them. "OKAY" they said together laughing. I rolled my eyes at them and just ignored them.

Since I'm not so good at keeping secrets, and my family and I are so close, they kind of all know pretty much how I feel about Dylan, and plus I'm not that great at keeping secrets.

But let me tell about Dylan. Dylan is originally from Miami , and he and his family moved out here about 4 years ago. Dylan and my brother met In high school, and they have been best friends ever since.
And ever since I met him I was totally crushing on him, but now my feeling are just getting less crushy and more real. This past year, my feelings have grown so much, to the point that I don't even know if what I'm feeling is a crush anymore. But probably nothing is going to happen...I highly doubt he likes me back.

"Sweetie are you ready to go?" My mom yelled from my parents room, taking me away from my thoughts about Dylan."Yeah mom I'm ready, bye guys" I waved at siblings and they waved back while they had their eggs. "Bye dad" I yelled. "Have a good day honey", he yelled back.

Since I am just purely terrified of getting my license, my mom drives me to school before she drives off to work.

I got to school I saw Catherine waiting for me by the gate. Anybody that has ever known us are just so shocked that we are still so close, because we are literally the exact opposite, I'm super girly and she is super super tomboy, i mean she's literally wearing sports wear to school. Random, but what can I say, I love her anyway.

"Hey Cath, how it going?" I hugged her.
"Hey Lucy, you ready for our first day?", she nodded towards the building. "Let's do this", I told her trying to push away my nerves.

We walked into the building and went straight to see what was our schedule. From what I saw, luckily all the schedules had the same break hours, so I would be able to see Care between classes. We both took our schedules and started to head to our classes together.

"Soooooo.....are you planing to find a new crush around here, because let me tell you, we've been here for 5 minutes and I've already seen at least 20 hotties" Care said while fanning her face and going hysterical. "Cmon Care you know me, I wouldn't be able to move on that fast....even if I wanted to", I told her.
"Okay fine, but for me can you at least try. If your not gonna tell Dylan how you feel, then you might as well find someone else, so please?" ,She gave me her annoying puppy dog eyes.

It's not that I didn't want to tell Dylan how I felt, it's just that I knew if he didn't feel the same way, I wouldn't be able to face him.....and to be honest, if I thought about it, things around my house could get really awkward since he comes over so often, and I didn't  want to ruin his relationship with my brother.

"Okay fine I'll try" I caved into her puppy eyes again.
"Yayyyy!!!! Just think about it Luce", she put her arm around me, "you and I, two single and ready to mingle girls are going to find two hot, and I mean HOT college guys,.....I can already see it now."she smiled putting her hand out in a dramatic way.
I rolled my eyes, "What ever floats your boat Care, but for now I'm just gonna stay single" I said.
"Fine, party pooper" she gave me a sad look.
"Oh Care, what am I gonna do with you?" I questioned smiling and rapping my arm around her.
"Your stuck with me I guess, bummer, I know", I laughed.

"Gosh, okay Care, let do this and have awesome time at college" I said. she smiled at me while we started heading to our classes.
