I sat up in my twin sized bed. I know, a 17 year old has a twin sized bed. Weird right? Well, that's all we could afford. Especially with all of my medication I have to pay for. And added on all the books I've collected but never read. I'm on one right now. It's called "The Movement" it's about a girl moving from town to town until she finds one that she will be staying in for a while. She ends up making friends but things get a little tough on her because her mom dies and yeah. I don't want to talk to much about dying especially since I'm kind of dying as well. "Kind of" well, I am. I don't like to talk about it because, well, it's just really depressing isn't it? Well. Shall we move on? My mom never wakes me up because sleeping helps fight cancer. Well, I can't have my tumor removed so, might as well do what I can. I get up out of my surprisingly comfy and warm bed and walk down the cold steps walking a little ways and going into the bathroom. I take my eye drops and put 2 in each eye. Then I take a pill about as thick as 2 cm and as long as 3 cm. I get a small cup and fill it up with cold fountain water. I out the small but large pill in the small bathroom cup and drink all the water and swallow the pill. I do this 2 more times with different pills. I grab my big black glasses and put them on. I get a hot pink hair tie and without much care I out my hair into a messy bun. I go into the kitchen not seeing my mom. My dad is at work so I know where he is. But my mom never leaves me home alone just incase something bad happens. There was a note that was left on a styrofoam box. The note read:
Hey Emie,
I got you some scrambled eggs, some bacon, with some grits for you. There is chocolate milk in the fridge if you want some. Oh. And I got you a new book. (: love you. Bye Hun.
~Mom
I love my mom. I took out the food and set it all on a glass plate and got myself some chocolate milk. I set it all on the table and began eating. I felt dizzy. What was "2+1 again? 7??" Oh no. It was happening.
