2 hours have passed and not much has really happened except a few duels. I beat Melody, sonic, amy, and we ran into Nicole and me and Melody both beat her. So now that the scores have been updated me and cream who I ran into went to check the boards on one of the duel screens well Melody and Marine went to get ice cream before Melody had another duel. The scores were a lot more than before.

With the no rematch system that was put into play 30 minutes ago people that reach 6 losses are eliminated until there are 8 people left so that there's 2 sure fire ways to make it to finals. "Darn, such a shame for Sonic and Amy. I was kinda rooting for them to make it." The small rabbit girl said to me. "In all honesty Sonic and Amy both have bad decks. They were kinda pushovers." I told Cream not trying to seem mean, just tried to be honest with her. Cream had always been my friend she wasn't a duelist but she's always had my back. I looked around bored and before I knew it I saw Dad with Papa and Mitsuki and a hedgehog with orange stripes and red armour. "Hey!" I called out as Cream and I ran over to them. I looked at them confidently. They all seemed upset. "Hey what's wrong?" I asked but they didn't even acknowledge me. Cream tried saying hi but they walked right past ignoring us. I growled reaching for a hand grabbing my dad's. Except I didn't grab it. My hand went right through his black and purple logo glove and the fluffy blue hand that pet me calm when I was scared. "Dad?" I was starting to feel weird in my chest. It felt like I was just stabbed and the blade was slowly turning in my chest. Behind me I heard the metallic sound of a duel disk locking in duel mode. I turn putting Cream behind me just in case. Standing there was a dog like mobian with long white dread locks and a mask on with the same eye as dad's locket. "Do you like not being seen?" The man asked us but I feel it was more directed to me. "Who are you!?" Cream yelled surprising me. "My name is Infinite. I challenge you to a duel." He pointed at me then his masks eye glowed bright causing Cream and I to shield our eyes. When we could see again we were on a arena sized platform in the sky. It wasn't glass but it was red and see through the street below was at least 50 stories below us. I sighed and held up my duel disk as Cream stood behind me. "Let's duel!" We drew five cards each. "You first." He says and I nodded. "I'll play dragunity Militum in attack position and lay 2 cards face down ending my turn." He draws. "I'll play Lyla, lightsworn sorceress in attack position and place one card face down and end my turn." I growl slightly and draw. "I play Garuda the wind spirit in attack position then I'll use Militum to take out your Lyla taking out my Militum in the process. Then attack you directly with Garuda ending my turn." His life points tick down as he draws. "I summon eclipse wyvern in attack position and end my turn." I draw yet again. "I play Dragunity dux in attack position and place one card face down and end my turn." I could see his mouth in the mouth hole of the mask smirk as he drew a card. "I play charge of the light brigade sending the top 3 cards of my deck to the graveyard to pick any level 4 or lower lightsworn monster from my deck and put it in my hand. So now I summon in Jain, lightsworn paladin in attack position and attack your dux." I stopped him in his tracks. "Trap card activate! Icarus attack allows me to tribute a winged beast monster to eliminate 2 cards on the field and I will tribute my dux to eliminate Jain and eclipse wyvern!" He growled and was forced to end his turn. "I draw. I play Dragunity aklys in attack position then I equip Garuda with mage power this this monster gains 500 attack and defense for each spell or trap on my side of the field meaning my monsters gains 1000 attack and defense so now Garuda has 2600 attack and 2200 defense points so now I attack you with aklys and Garuda's power combined for 3600 attack. Leaving you with 2800 life points as I end my turn." He growled and drew his next card. "I play red eyes black chick and activate it's effect to tribute it out and summon in red eyes black dragon in attack position taking out your aklys." Again I stopped him. "I activate my trap card windstorm of etaqua to change your battle position." His visible eye began to twitch as he was forced to end his turn and let me draw. "I play most valley falcon in attack position and take out your red eyes and now with the combined power of Garuda and aklys I finish off your life points. I win this duel." His mask lit up once more and me and Cream were safely on the street once more. "Hey Dimitri!" I heard that familiar nerdy voice of papa behind me. Cream and I both turn and run over to them. I wrapped my arms around dad and papa. "Hey little buddy we missed you too." Dad said with his hood falling back from his blue fox head. If only he knew how much I missed him too. "Where's Melody at? Maybe we can all duel before we depart again." I'll be honest I didn't know how to answer him. I had no clue where Melody was because I had no clue how long my duel with Infinite guy was. As if summoned like a kuriboh, Melody and Marine come running over. "Alright now that everyone is here let's do a double duel Dimitri and Melody vs me and Suki." Me and Melody look at each other after dad's proposal and we lift our duel disks. They then raise there's. "Let's duel!" We all call out and draw 5 each. We started and I went first. "Alright I play twin headed behemoth in attack position then place one card face down." Melody drew. "I'll place one card in face down defense position and end our turn." Mitsuki drew. "I'll place one card face down in defense position." Dad now drew. "I play swords of revealing light then I'll use black magic ritual to tribute a level 8 monster from my hand to summon in magician of black chaos and take out Melody's facedown monster ending our turn." I smirked and drew. "I use my spell card stamping destruction to destroy your swords of revealing light and inflict 500 damage to your life points. Now I tribute twin headed behemoth for dragunity Primus pilus in attack position then I'll play card destruction making everyone discard there hands and draw equal to what you were holding. Now that everyone has redrawn their hands I attack mitsuki's face down monster and now I'll place one card face down." Melody smiles and draws a card. "I play 7 coloured fish in attack position then I'll place one card face down an play pot of generosity to put two cards from my hand back into my deck and shuffle. That will end our turn." Mitsuki draws not looking happy with her new hand. "I place one card face down in defense position." Dad now draws. "I play paladin of the cursed dragon in attack position and use my magician to attack pilus." Melody cut him off. "Not so fast dad. I use my trap security orb to negate the attack and switch your magician of black chaos into defense position." He growled. "Fine paladin of the cursed dragon take out the 7 coloured fish and end our turn." I drew giving Melody a thumbs up on the save. "I play United we stand giving pilus 3000 attack destroying magician of black chaos. Now I summon mist valley falcon to destroy your paladin of the cursed dragon." Melody now draws. "I place one card face down ending our turn." Mitsuki drew. "I tribute my face down for Kaiser glider in attack position and I attack mist valley falcon." Melody stopped mitsuki in her tracks. "I activate spellbinding circle meaning your glider can no longer attack or defend." Mitsuki growled and dad drew. He looked defeated and ended his turn. I drew. "I'll take out glider with pilus then I'll attack with mist valley falcon." Melody drew again. "I play my monster reborn to bring Jack's knight to the field from when I had to discard my hand and now I tribute Jack's knight to summon in summoned skull in attack position attacking your guys life points directly for 2500. Now you only have 3000 life points and you haven't even touched us. With that I end our turn." Mitsuki drew. She sighed unable to play anything of use to her and let dad go. "I draw. I'll end our turn." I smiled finally beating my father. "Pilus finish this." I said it and just like that their life points hit zero. After that me and Melody both separately duelled papa. I won and she lost. As we were walking home for the night the duel screens all lit up. "This just in, finals are here. You can see what this means. Good luck all and here are your final 8!" The finalists scrolled the screen.
