A NIGHT OF HORRORS

"I can't wait for your party tonight" Danni said to Summer, His girlfriend. It was her 18th birthday today and she was using her fathers hotel, which was about to be under renovation, for her party. " Yeah the hotel is pretty much closed for a few weeks so I asked if it would be okay to use it before he remodeled it." She said. Summer was dark-skinned with coffee brown eyes and long dark hair. Danni was of average height and had brown skin and dark brown hair & eyes. They met in Black Student union along with most of their friends. All of their friends except brad and KC were black. Brad was white and KC was Marshallese. "Who all is coming" asked Danni. "Well here's the list" summer slipped the list into Dannis hand and read off the names

"So the whole friend group" asked Danni . "yes" replied Summer
He then sat the list down only to watch the wind blow it away.

Later that evening as he was getting ready Danni heard a knock on the door. It was his father. "Hey look I want you to be careful tonight. You'll be all the way in Seattle I want you to watch yourself okay? You remember what happened last year in that car accident." Danni shook his head and said " I will be careful can you and mom stop babying me? I'll be okay nothing is gonna happen. Besides, Elena is driving." His father then sighed and left the room. With a honk outside he knew his friends were there to pick him up. Grabbing a backpack with one swift move he ran down the stairs and out the door without saying bye. He then got in the car with a smile on his face while his friend, Elena turned the key and started the car. Driving off into the night

Once they arrived they had realized they were the last to come. "Where's Summer?" Asked Danni. "She's in her room with Aniah." Said Sky. "Oh." He replied. Once Summer came down they decided to start a movie and grab some snacks. "Brad go get the snack cart it's in the back" said KC. Brad then looked at her in disgust. "I can't stand his ass he always thinks he's better than someone." Said Danni

As brad opened the door he searched for the light switch. When he finally discovers it the room dimly lights up allowing him to see the cart. But before grabbing it a hand reaches out from the corner and chops his arm off and with another swift slash he cuts off his head. And it falls to the ground with a roll. his tall, slim figure follows his head with a quite thump.

"It's been forever where is he?" Danni said deciding to go look for him. After opening the door he turns on the light. Only to see brads head on a platter with and apple stuffed in his mouth, his guts laid in front of his head and his body laid on the floor. Too shocked to scream he simply says "you guys come here now. Y'all gotta see this." His friends then crowd the door. Only to see the sick scene that is now where brad died. "We've gotta call the police!" Cried Paris. "We can't the reception is bad because Summers dad started work on the building today!" Said Emily. Alexis and Jordan, twin sisters, then decided to go try to open the front door. "It's stuck!" They complained. We've got to find a way out of here said Sasha. "Let's split up." Said Najae. "No! Are you dumb" Said Jordan. "That's how the black people die in every scary movie." she continued. "Well we have to if we want to find a way out of here as fast as we can." Said KC "let's go in pairs." Said najae.

"Wait." Said Danni, "I'm the only boy." He finished
"Anyway let's go." Said Paris.

KC and Najae took the 4th floor. They wandered aimlessly trying to find an open window or anything that wasn't locked. But just like everyone else they were afraid. They had this feeling in the pit of their stomachs to look for the killer. So while searching for a way out that's exactly what they decided to do. Find a way out and find the killer. A bold plan but it was courageous nonetheless. "This big ass hotel and not a single exit is open. And what are we supposed to do? Jump from up here? We can't even break the glass because it's been boarded up for reconstruction" complained KC when suddenly there was a crack. The sound came from her neck. Najae turned around but before she could scream there was a cut across her chest and she fell to the ground.
A blacked out mask looked down at her. Wearing nothing but black he left swiftly and blended with the shadows.
