Chapter 39: Just Me & You

* Ebony's POV *

I walked into the apartment & turned the light on. J was standing there with roses in his hand & a smile on his face.

Ebony: Aw!

J Cole: I wanted to surprise you.

Ebony: I'm surprised baby.

I grabbed the roses & kissed him.

Ebony: What are you doing here?

J Cole: Surprising you. I haven't seen you in a week.

Ebony: I know.

J Cole: Missed me?

Ebony: Definitely.

J Cole: Well, I've got you something else.

Ebony: Really?

* J Cole's POV *

I was actually falling a lot faster than I thought for Ebony. Since she had been in Chicago, I was here & missing her. I done bought these roses, drew her a bubble bath, & even bought her a new car.

Ebony: So you really done got something else?

J Cole: Yup.

I walked her out to the car.

Ebony: You're giving me you're car?

J Cole: This was never my car. I just bought it before you got off you're flight here.

Walking her behind the car, I showed her the license plate: Ebony1. She smiled grabbing me in for more hugs & kisses.

Ebony: Baby! I love it! Thank you!

She grabbed the keys & got inside the car. I sat on the passenger side & she test drove the car.
