Episode 1: Swam too deep

*1 year later*

It's a dark night on the Gold Coast, four best friends Emma, Cleo, Rikki and Bella are walking along the sandy beach. It's a full moon, something they are usually weary of. Although tonight's a different night, it felt right to stay out and see the moon shine down on the Coast, anyway they hadn't seen any trouble on a full moon since last year.

"Wow the moon is shining really bright tonight," Cleo says.

"What's that?" Bella asks pointing down at the sand, where she saw a picture of all the four girls.

"Is that us?" Emma asks.

*splash*

All the girls look towards the water, where they see a glimpse of an orange tail, identical to their mermaid tails when they are in mermaid form.

"Charlotte," Rikki says, anger rising in her voice.

"It can't be, she couldn't get her tail back again, it's just not...logical," Emma says.

"Your basing this on logic?" Rikki says.

"C'mon it wouldn't be Charlotte, it can't be," Cleo says.

"Uh guys," Bella says pointing to the water, "That's four girls, uh I think they are mermaids!"

As the four best friends look towards the water they see 4 heads bobbing in the water, and then a second after they were gone.

"What are you doing!" Emma shouted as Rikki ran towards the water and jumped in.

"It's night time she shouldn't be swimming, we should follow her," Bella said, and Cleo and Emma followed her into the deep blue sea.

As they were swimming right behind Rikki following the four mermaids something big came out of the blue.

Whirrrrrrrrr

A big blue whale swam right in front if them and disappeared below them, although why it passed Emma, Cleo and Bella lost their trail on Rikki.

"Rikki!" Cleo called out in the water,"Rikki!"

The girls caught a orange gleam deep down in the water, and they swam down and down and down, after the orange shimmer, hoping it was Rikki. When they saw the thing in full view they felt a wave of relief, until the mermaid turned around.

"That's not Rikki..." Cleo trailed off.

It wasn't Rikki but a mermaid with blonde silky hair and an orange tail nearly identical to theirs, but it was a lighter orange. The mermaid had big blue eyes and the sparkle in her eye screamed trouble.

Her lips curled into a smirk, and she waved her hands in a pull motion and five other mermaids swam up from underneath them, and they had Rikki.

"RIKKI!" The three girls screamed.
