The next day, Lilly awoke with a yawn. "Good morning Steven." Lilly said as she yawned. Steven was still asleep but he woke up at the sound of Lilly's voice. "Good morning Lilly." Steven replied. Steven took a deep breath and started telling Lilly of the night events. Steven told her about how Spencer had started eating the ring. And how Steven had fixed it and gone to the lab. He told her how he was very sorry he had stolen the ring.
Lilly had very, very mixed emotions about this. She was mad at Steven for stealing after Lilly had told him twice not to take it. But at the same time she was very happy that Steven had returned it , fixed it and apologized. Lilly decided to forgive Steven, as long as he promised never to steal ANYTHING ever again. The two friends shook hands and legs promising not to steal anything ever again.
Steven then showed Lilly the ring. The gold ring had to many cracks to count. Although Steven had attempted to fix the ring, he knew deep down inside of him that the ring would never be the same and that Lilly mike be mad at Steven. Lilly did a tiny gasp as she looked at the precious ring. "I-I love it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Lilly said excitedly doing a little Irish jig of some sort while saying it.
Steven never thought that the twos friendship could be any stronger, until that morning. That morning Steven knew that nothing could destroy their friendship, nothing.
