~Surprise~

It had been a few days since Mika and I got back home. Yoichi had stayed with us for a while, after missing us for a couple of months. But afterwards, it was just me and my blonde. Mika has been acting weird since we got home. He hadn't been eating too much lately, he hasn't been sleeping at all. I have to get him to drink water, otherwise he won't drink it on his own. I even wake up sometimes to find him
not even next to me in bed. He would always be laying downstairs. Same thing happened tonight, except he wasn't downstairs.

I woke up to, once again, find him not in bed. I sighed and grabbed a hoodie before heading downstairs to look for him. I looked over and saw the back door open. I slowly walked out to find him sitting on the beach, his feet getting washed up by the ocean. Slowly, I walked over to him. He must've heard me because I saw his head turn.

"Oh, hey Yu-Chan." He said quietly. I stood there for a second before crossing my arms. "Why are you out here by yourself?" I asked as I walked over and sat next to him. He looked over at me before he shook his head, starting to get up. "Doesn't matter.." He said.

"No, no you're gonna tell me what's going on." I said as I grabbed his hand, having him sit back down. He looked at me before he looked down. "I-I really dont-"

"Mikaela."

His eyes widened a little when I used his full name. "Talk to me. Please..." I pleaded as I stared at him. He looked at me before he sighed and closed his eyes, turning his head away. "I-I don't know really...I've never felt like this before.." He said as he pulled his knees to his chest. I tilted my head a little as I scooted closer to him. "What are you feeling?"

He looked over at me a little. "Sadness, anxiety, anger, fear..." He said as he looked towards the ocean. I looked at him as I watched him carefully. "How long have you been feeling like this..?"

"Since before we left for America.."

My eyes widened a little. "W-Why haven't you said anything?" I asked. He shrugged a little as he kept his gaze towards the sea. "I thought it would go away..." He said quietly. I looked at him more. "Mika, have you felt sadness that was so bad that, y-you just couldn't take it anymore..?" I asked suddenly. His head perked up a little before looking over at me. Slowly, he nodded. "How bad...?"

"To the point I couldn't be here anymore..."

My eyes widened again before I shook my head. "P-Please don't tell me you've tried..." He looked at me before shaking his head. "No, no I couldn't leave you like that, Yu-Chan.." He said. Then he looked away. "But I've considered it..." He said quietly. I stared at him before I sighed. I pulled him into my arms as I allowed him to rest his head on my shoulder. "Look, I know what you're going through right now....But trust me, you don't want to consider doing that...." I said quietly. I heard him let in a shaky breath. Carefully I pulled him into my lap to hold him.

I hushed him softly as I kissed the side of his head. "I want to help Mika...I really do.." I said. "I don't want you to go through the same shit I had to go through..." I told him. He sniffed before slowly nodding. I lifted his head to see him crying. "I'm sorry Yu-Chan..." He told me. I leaned in and pressed my lips to his, moving my hand through his hair. I pulled away before slowly opening my eyes to look at him.

"I love you, ok? No matter how sad you lonely you feel, I'll always love you. With all my heart."
He looked at me as I wiped away some of his tears. "No matter what...?"

"No matter what."

~Time Skip: Four months~

Today was Mika's 24th birthday, or to everyone else, his 18th. I wanted to surprise him, but that wasn't really easy when he was always with me. But, I managed to get Yoichi to take him somewhere shopping. Firstly, I had Guren kind of set up the house. Then, I had to get his present. To be honest, I had no idea what to get him. He hasn't really been the happiest since our talk about him on the beach four months ago. And I wanted to change that. A few nights ago, when he was asleep, I went to the ocean to search for something for him.
