By the time Semmy made it back to her room Suada was frantic. She had the dress, the shoes, the jewelry all together. What she also had, was knowledge she could have lived without. Knowledge of the pain that would occur this night that she could not prevent. Or rather, if she prevented the bad - the one thing that absolutely must happen - might not.

"Where is that agon?" She sighed just as a trail of black smoke came floating in. As the young agon took form Suada could hardly hold back her exasperation. "Where have you been!? GO! Put this on and don't bother with any excuses!" She growled as she threw the dress at Semmy and pushed her behind the curtain.

"Pantha, I thought you didn't want me be excited."  Semmy laughed as she began to change.

"Not excited, but not late either. This is very important, and even if it begins to seem like The Under, you must keep up appearances." Suada explained as she picked up a piece of jewelry and passed it behind the curtain to Semmy. "Are you listening to me?" Suada questioned as she went to grab the next piece.

"I suppose, but I always keep up appearances don't I?" Semmy shrugged as finished dressing. "Besides, once Auster gets back it won't matter." Semmy sighed putting on the earrings and stepped from behind the curtain. Before she could look for the mirror Suada pulled her arm and slammed her to the wall. "Wha-"

"You are an imbecile if you believe for one second they are going to bring him back in anything but box - or in pieces. If and I mean a really large if - he comes back he will have a target on his back the size of Igsylgard." Suada whispered through tears.  As she let Semmy go, the young agon fought back tears.

"Why are you doing this? Why is everyone doing this today?" Semmy demanded pushing passed Suada.

"Everyone?" Suada asked reaching for Semmy's shoulder. Semmy brushed her off to stand in the mirror.

"Nevermind it." She sighed. "I understand." She looked down. "I just, wanted today to be good for once. You say don't look forward to it - and now you say I shouldn't look forward to seeing Auster again. Am I not allowed to hope?" Semmy asked looking up at Suada through the mirror.

"No... Not for this and certainly not for him." Suada sighed stepping forward to stand behind Semmy. She grasped her shoulders and turned her around to face her. "I need you to understand - that they sent him away hoping to kill him. They sent him to aid in the war, a war that has claimed countless dragons to defend the humans. Dragons are treated as nothing but weapons there and your brother was young. Too young." Suada sighed. "I have something to tell you." She turned Semmy back around to face the mirror. "Look."

Looking in the mirror, her thick black locks were long with gold beads and charms up and down them. Her skin was the color of a sweet milk chocolate. Her black markings faded from grey to white like a haze of smoke under her eyes. Her nose was round and wide set - perfect for her pronounced cheek bones. Her chin was small and her lips were slightly plump and not overly pronounced in shape. Her jaw was neither wide nor thin and her neck neither long nor short. Her dress, was divine. The Daerconai colors did nothing to shame the clearly Ariolonne design. The choker like collar appeared to be to separate cloths, one red and one mauve, wrapping together as it spun out to two sides to cup her breasts and continued to twine around her waist exposing her belly button and then  coming together to form a red chiffon skirt that split on both sides of the leg.

"You are a royal. You are an Ariolonne and better yet you're an agon. You did not have the luxury of learning from your parents what it means to be an agon of your tribe - but you are the one who must save your tribe. Not Auster." Once again she turned the agon to face her. "Whether he was here or no. You must bear the burden that comes with the title. Your father - was a great leader. There was mourning in the streets when his sister caved to illness at a young age - because it is the females - the agons that are precious. I have neglected to teach you properly because you needed to fit in here where it is a gon's world - and because Ariolonne culture is guarded closely like a secret. You are a people of mystery and shadow. But no more - you my cub - will bring your people back to the light. Yet, you cannot do so alone, and you won't have to. I promise - you won't always feel alone." At this Suada hugged her and held her close.  "You cannot trust to hope, but you -"A horn sounded, like a sweet hum it called to the masses to begin the celebration.
