I've been on this earth for about 6205 days
And each day it gets harder, there's more pressure
Each day I tell myself I'm just going through a phase
I tell myself everything will get better
Although I'm only 17 years old I'd say i've been through a lot
Some really good times and some really bad times
It took a lot of perseverance to get through it all, I had to train my thoughts
But now I'm here to share with you all what i've learned, read between the lines
There is a lot I can talk about within the three minutes I was given
So it was really hard for me to write this speech
However, I narrowed it down to the things I believe will keep you all driven
Because main passions are to inspire and to teach
Let me just start by saying, Don't trade ever your authenticity for approval
It's better to be who you are instead of something you're not
We were all made one of a kind and understanding that is crucial
Because trying to be exactly like someone else is a long shot
We weren't created to be replicated, keep that in mind
Yes we can have inspirations but don't take them to far
Don't follow explicitly what others may do, don't be blind
Be a leader and be true to who you are
Be true, be you
Huh, Thats a funny statement
Considering the fact that many people don't even know what means nowadays
They aren't aware of their mentality being affected by societal enslavement
And that leaves me astonished, that leaves me amazed
Stay woke, be aware of feeding your mind
Why are you so gung ho over the lives of celebrities, who aren't going to pay your school tuition
They're aren't going to pay for your things at the store when your card says declined
They aren't gonna be there for you when you're stuck in a bad situation
Think about it, Instead of roaming on social media and the internet
We could easily be bettering ourselves in one way or another
Almost all of the people we watch and support already have their lives set
Now it's our turn, we need to get our lives together
Matter of fact, how many of you know what you want to do with your lives?
How many of you actually have a vision?
We need to start creating our own goals and aspirations, because we weren't born to do everything
There is no more time for experimentation, it's time for intentional living
Vision helps you identify yourself
If you know where you're going, you automatically know what roads won't take you there
That's why it is important to know yourself
Because Your past does not have to determine your future, but it can certainly help you to prepare
What are the three things we desire most in this world?
Success, Wealth and Happiness
For many people the answer to this question may be different
But in the end we all want the same thing, we all want to end up as champions
So please don't be afraid or intimidated and do not underestimate your potential
And remember no one can make you feel inferior without your consent
You can do anything, remembering that is essential
I mean you never know, you might end up being the next president
However, sometimes it is necessary to leave behind what's holding you back
Have you ever heard the saying, Show me your friends and I'll show you your future?
It can be hard to let go of some people but you don't need another setback
It's better to be surrounded by positivity because you can use that as a booster
So if you know people are bringing negativity into your life, remove yourself, take my feedback
But i mean if you know you have the right friends, that's supper!
We can either make ourselves miserable or happy, the amount of work is the same
And your mentality is what will prove you strong
Work towards being a better person, work towards changing the game
Sometimes we have to create our own lane, and not trying to find somewhere to belong
With independence comes responsibility
And you are responsible for your own happiness
And if you realize your responsibility you will realize your destiny
Once you you do, I guarantee you'll be champions
The last thing I have to say to you is this
If you really want to be successful in life, do not seek success seek to become a person of value
I'm going to repeat that because it's something I don't want you to miss
