We spent the rest of the car ride home making small talk and I occasionally caught Cole sneaking glances at me. That very well could possibly be my imagination though seeing as Cole is extremely hot and he could basically get any girl he wanted, what would he be doing looking at a girl like me –huh- beats me. Oh there I was getting lost in my thoughts again as I caught Cole reaching over the passengers seat to open my door.

 “Oh yeah, I guess I better go now” I awkwardly say grabbing my bag. “Thanks for the ride though.” I give him a small smile which he returns back. I hear him unbuckle his seatbelt  causing me to curiously spin around. Why was he getting out of the car? I hope he doesn’t want to –er- you know ‘spend the night.’

 “Umm Cole?” my voice cracked.

 “Yes pookie?”

 “What are you…. Well, I mean –erm- I don’t really do that stuff?”

 “What stuff?” You may as well make a new book called 50 shades of red and plaster my face all over the front cover.

 “Oh, I thought you wanted to…. Y-you know.” I stutter completely and utterly humiliating myself.

 “OH MY GOSH.” His eyes grew wide causing his forehead to crinkle, before he doubled over with laughter. “D-d-did you think I wanted t-to hook, h-hookup?” By now tears were springing to his eyes.

 “Jerk.” I mutter and elbow his side before walking off. He composes himself and jogs after me.

 “Hey, you managed to inflict me physical harm twice within less than 24 hours. I’m not sure my mother will take it well and I’m not sure your mother will appreciate you hurting the president of the woman’s country clubs son .” I stop in my tracks and if looks could kill he’d drop dead in a split second. It’s one thing to threaten me with his mom, but my own mother? I’d be dead meat the only thing she cares about is her stupid reputation and what all the petty housewives think of our family.

 “You wouldn’t freaking dare Cole Mcgrath.”

 “Try me.” He smirks.

 “I think you’ll have to make it up by spending some quality time with me tomorrow.” He gives his million dollar smile, his teeth threatening to blind me at any moment. Seriously though, I wonder if he gets them bleached because those are some unnaturally white teeth.

 “Katie? Hello?” Cole tries to grab my attention. 

 “Oh yeah right," his voice snaps me out of my thoughts. "Jerk.” I turn on my heels and walk away.

 “Okay but seriously pookie.” He gently grabs my wrist, “I’m really sorry, I mean it’s not that I don’t want to hook-up with you, it’d just feel wrong.”

 “Wrong? Because if this is your way of nicely calling me ugly and totally sexually unattractive I get it.” I pull my wrist back, feeling slightly hurt.

 “No it’s just uh- you know…” he runs a hand through his hair and averts his gaze from me, looking around uncomfortably.” Well, you’re a virgin.” He blurts out. There I go again my face heats up and becomes scarlet.  “I may be a jerk, but I would never take a girls virginity A. during a one night stand and B. when her mother and brother are in the same house as us.”
