Petrichor filled the warm air as rain poured rapidly out of gray clouds, the stammering of passerby's shoes hitting the wet cement, scavenging to the nearest shelter.

The squelching of Stark's boots sunk into the puddles of mud, bringing a shiver down his spine, he didn't think once to check the weather before going out for a stroll and today is the day he regretted most. Considering he almost always did, just in case a malfunction in weather may dirty up his high priced wardrobe.

Managing to get over the feeling in his extremities, Stark took a right turn to a local NY café, as he walked in, people awed in amusement that Tony Stark, Iron Man was in their midst. Not paying any mind to the people surrounding him. After hanging up his soaked sweater, he casually sat down and got comfortable in a dark curved, cornered booth dimly lit by only a singular vanilla bean scented candle which was placed on the rounded table.

He took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes, opening them then to his surprise he caught sight of a tall, muscular man with sharp cheekbones and fair features, darkened hair with a sweep of white above his ears, his eyes an icy glaze of blue; standing at the entrance.

'Strange.. Doctor Stephen Strange..' He thought to himself. 'What would he be doing here..'

Stratching his chin, resting his elbow on the table, he stared intently at Strange as he took baby steps, admiring the soft decor of the café. Twiddling around with his sling ring, he concluded to hang up his cloak which was huddled underneath an even larger coat, a bit more casual than his usual mystic wear. As he began to layer down his outside wear, he sported a dark black cardigan in which a small button resided at the end, along with a v-neck grey t-shirt, denim skinny jeans and casual dress shoes.

Strange looked around the café for a spot to sit, as Tony made himself purposely more prominent, he quickly cooled down and sat back, sinking into his seat. Noticing Stark, Stephen smirked and walked over, he stood over the table crossing his arms.

"If it isn't Tony Stark. Don't you have better places to be for your high quality taste than a necessitous tea room as of here?"

The snarky remark began to slightly get on Tony's nerves but he decided it was best to keep on the downlow.

"As you can see Doc, I like to keep up with the times, with those I protect, I go to these places where-"

"You get all the attention, I know I know, do you ever notice how overly pompous of a man you are Tony?"

Strange was going too far, more than what Tony was used to, this time it triggered something deeper.

"What I was going to say, I enjoy going to these places so I can get a taste of what it's like to be normal."

The mood went from argumental to melancholy real quick, Stephen wasn't impressed with himself when he saw that Tony had an aching expression on his face and proceeded to look down to the floor.

Taking a seat a few feet across from Tony, Stephen sighed and pressed his index finger and thumb toward the inards of his eyes, his brows furrowed.

"I apologize for the unecessary comment Stark, I didn't mean to cut into a healing scar like that."

"What do you know about scars.." Tony's tone sharpened.

In disbelief, Strange turned his head away, letting out a soft sigh, lifting his hands up for Tony to see.

Staggered, Tony's face turned red.

"You seem to have forgotten.. but my scars aren't important right now, what's important is your healing process and I want to be able to assist you within that healing in anyway I ca--"

Strange was cut off by his comment with an endearing sensation placed upon his lips. Tony scooched closer next to Stephen, gripping at his collar, kissing Strange deeply and passionately. Stark began grabbing at Stephen's palm, intertwining their fingers, the warmth of the kiss flustered them both as Stephen felt a smile form on Tony's face. Opening his eyes, he heard the audible giggles of Tony, striking Stephen with a blush, his eyes brightened with twinkles like stars in the night sky. Breaking the grip, Tony stared into Stephen's eyes, enthralled.

"You talk to much Doc, we're going to be alright." Stephen placed his freed palm on Tony's cheek and caressed it with his thumb.

Strange warmly grinned and pecked Tony on the cheek, as Tony rested his head on Stephen's shoulder, wrapping his long arms around his beloved, not caring about the judgement surrounding them.
