Don't Be Mad At Me

Final Chapter. Officially Done.

Ally and Maddy went home while I stayed.

I wanted more time with you, Maddy. I really wished you could've stayed until our little angel was born.

Did you know the day Maddy was born, I couldn't figure out a name for her yet so, luckily they allowed me to let her have yours but only as a middle name and when I knew what to name her they could finalize the papers...

The day before I got married for the last time, me and Ally went to the hospital to fix Maddy's papers.

She reminds me so much about you. The way you make me smile, the way you laugh at my jokes, the way you act optimistic of everything. I hope you could see her from where you are.

Suddenly someone tapped me on the shoulder..

It was Ally.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah, where's Maddy?"

"You're mom wanted to spend the weekend with her so she came and picked her up."

"Okay"

I can't say I don't love Ally but sometimes, I wondered what my life could be if it was her instead of Ally.

I heard her sigh and sit next to me.

"Ally?"

"Yes?"

"Do you miss Alex?"

She seemed surprised I asked about him. I don't talk about him anymore. He and I were a lot a like so I was proud yet dissapointed when he died. I was proud because he was able to save Maddy. I was dissapointed in myself because he died saving my little girl. I wished it was me and not him.

"Yeah, a lot. How about you? Do you miss Maddy?"

The day he was buried. Ally was broken, no emotion, no feeling, she was numb and her face was stained with tears and mascara.

"Yeah, each and everyday."

she smiled.

"At least you have Maddy to remember her. unlike me, alone."

Ally's boyfriend Axel, Alex's dad, went missing for a month and the next he was found dead in the back of a hotel. No one found the suspect so his case went cold.

I put my arm around her.

The reason why she isn't mad or jelous of me still not over you is because we aren't intimate about each other. We're just friends who happen to love each other and ended up marrying each other.

She snuggled closer.

The wind blew lightly. Like someone was ther with us.

"Hey... you still have and Maddy."

she looked at me with confusion.

"Ally, I love you and so does Maddy. And I'm not leaving you anytime soon. Remember that. Okay?"

I held her closer to me.

"And I hope you would also remember that I'm here for you. Okay?"

"Okay."

We both said at the same time.
