Ben and Holly: more than best friends

Chapter 4

Holly woke up to the sound of Ben coming in through her window. "Ben, it's 6:30!" Holly said. But Ben didn't answer. He grabbed Holly and went out the window and disappeared. Holly screamed. No help.

Ben heard a noise coming from the little castle. It was Holly! He rushed down only to see Holly held by a copy of Ben. His copy grinned. It was their enemy, Prince Sam! He saw all the faires and elves coming towards him. They thought Ben was capturing her. Ben had to find a way to rescue her! Just as Sam was about to fly away, a lasso landed on Holly waist. It was Ben! He was pulling as hard as he could but prince Sam held on. Holly started crying. Ben heard her and got a new strength. The faires and elves were close now, and prince Sam was grinning the biggest grin he could. Ben used his new strength. Love. Holly flew out of Sam's hands and Ben pulled her in. She magicked Sam back to his normal form. Before the people of the little Kingdom could scold Ben, Sam changed back to his normal form. He was pulled to the ground by Ben's lasso. Everyone realised what was happening and threw prince Sam out of the little kingdom. Holly was in Ben's arms, crying. Ben held her close. She felt the violent fast pounding from his chest. She wrapped her arms around him Ben did the same. "It's okay, I got you." Ben said. The King and Queen looked at each other in amaze. An elf and a fairy? In love? This had never happened before! Everyone stared at them. Ben felt their stares but didn't care. Daisy and Poppy giggled. Holly was too embarrassed to be in this moment so she magicked Ben and her in the bedroom Ben and Holly were supposed to sleep in today. Holly looked up and saw Ben gazing at her, smiling. "You saved my life!" Holly said. "Yes, I did. And I am very proud of that. Talking about what happened yesterday." Holly remembered and hoped Ben wouldn't see the crimson in her cheeks. Looking at Ben's smirk she knew immediately she was wrong. 

After a while, they went outside and saw everyone waiting for them. King Thistle was the first one to step up. "Ben, you have saved Holly from Sam. In fact, both of you have saved everyone from that wretched Sam." Ben wondered how. "How did we save the whole little Kingdom?" Ben asked. 

"All the adults knew about this surprise attack and Sam was also going to destroy the little kingdom." Queen Thistle said. "Ben, you are a very brave and courageous young man. Three cheers for Ben and Holly!" 

"Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!" Everyone shouted happily. "Your majesty I don't-" Ben blushed from hearing the kings praise. Holly smiled and put her hands to her chest to see Ben and all his fine qualities being praised. The King glanced at her and smiled. "Ben, next week there will be a surprise waiting for you and Holly. Holly was excited. She loved surprises, especially with Ben around. 

Soon it was time for the royal dance. "Everyone take you partners!" The Wise Old Elf said in the microphone. Ben got up from his chair and took Holly's hands. "¿Puedo tener este baile contigo, princesa?" (May I have this dance with you, princess? In Spanish). "Si puedes." Holly said. (Yes, you may. In Spanish). They got up and danced to many tunes and had lot's of fun before it was time to go to the "hotel" that they would stay in. 

They reached the hotel and Ben and Holly had the most luxurious room out of the other young adults. 2 bathrooms, a indoor pool, 1 master bedroom, a sofa, a widescreen TV, it was like a mini mansion! They sat on the sofa and put on their favourite TV show. Holly laughed while Ben gazed at her face. Soon Holly fell asleep again and Ben understood because it was almost midnight. He carried her to their room and put her on the bed. He tucked her up and took one last look at her face before it was bedtime. He kissed her on the forehead gently and lay down next to her. He reached for the lamp and turned it off. "Goodnight Hollywood," Ben said and drifted off to sleep.
