Today's the day. The day Shawn has been waiting for his entire life. And no. It's not our wedding day.... yet. But it's the night of the MTV awards 2018. Shawn has been so anxious about going on stage if he wins...which I have no doubt that we won't get an award. But I have been by his side during his journey to success, I wouldn't call it fame just yet, but he's getting there.

Oh who the fuck am I kidding. He is famous, and he is loved by the whole nation. But that's not the reason I'm in love with him. I love him for him and only him. I fell in love with the Shawn Peter Raul Mendes who grew up in Pickering in the house across the street. I fell in love with the Shawn who will do anything to put a smile on someone's face. That's my Shawn.

We are now sitting in the audience and I can sense how nervous Shawn is right now. Personally, I find it kinda cute!

"Babe! Calm down! You're starting to scare me." I chuckle, but I don't get a reaction form a paranoid Shawn.

"Hey babe look at me!" I say in a more demanding tone. As he slowly turned his head, I can see balls of sweat dripping from his hairline.
"You can do this ok. It's just an award show! Yeah it might be your first one, but you need to chill out! When your nervous just think of........me okay? Think about me and hold my hand so that I can calm you down!!!" I say to him and catch my breath. He gives a small smirk.

"Y/n. I love you! You know that right? Thank you so much Y/n you don't even understand how nervous I am." He say with a worried look on his face and his smirk fading away.

Oh for the love of god Mendes! This boy is going to kill me one day! Without warning. I smash my lips against his and he smiles throughout the kiss. He has one hand on my hip and he other holding my hand. Whereas my hand is on his cheek and the other in his hand.

"Wow babe...thanks!" I chuckle at his reaction to the kiss.

Later on in the award show.

Annoyingly, Camilla Cabello was hosting Shawn's category. Fucking great.

"And now. The award for best music video of 2018 is...." camilla said looking at Shawn in a flirty way. Shawn saw the jealousy building up inside me, so he put his hand on my thigh and smiled.

"You ok babe...?" He giggles at me with that....sexy smirk of his.
"Yes Shawn...I'm fine"
"Yeah you are..." he mumbled and smirked and looks 1000x sexier.
"SHHHHHH!!!!" I shushed him because people might hear him.

"IN MY BLOOD MY SHAWN MENDES!!!" Camilla announced. I want to punch that bïtçh so FUCKING hard!

Anyways. I stood up and hugged Shawn with my arms wrapped around his neck and his hands snake around my waist. He looked at me in the eyes and kissed me quickly and went on stage to receive his award.

Shawn walked onto the stage and I saw Camilla give me a stink eye but I just sniggered. But what really got me is what she did next.

"Well done babe" she said to him and caressed his arm. My blood was boiling at this point. Shawn however swatted her hand away and started talking into the mic.

"Wow. Um....I'm just so stunned to be up here in front of so many living legends. Like amongst you guys I'm an ant. But that's not the point why I'm up here. I would like to thank my fans for supporting me and voting for me. Because without them I would not be here reviewing this award. I would also like to thank my parents and Aaliyah, my sister for supporting me in my career and being there for me. Finally I would like to thank one special person. However she needs to come up on stage with me. So Y/n....come up here!" After Shawn's magnificent speech which has me in tears I hear my name and my eyes are bulging out of my head. Someone next to me nudged me, who I later found out was Taylor Swift, to go up onto stage with him.

As I was walking up to the stage I saw the jealous look on camilla's face and it gave me more confidence to be a total bad ass am I right?

I walked up next to Shawn and I heard mixed of "aw's" and "ooh's" And I just smiled and hugged my boyfriend.

"I would lastly like to thank this gorgeous woman in front of you here. Y/n is my rock throughout this whole process and she has been my, most needed, shoulder to cry on. I love this girl with all my heart and I don't know what I would be doing here today with ought her. So Y/n, this award is dedicated to you for being the best girlfriend a man could ever ask for." He ended his speech by placing a soft but passionate kiss on my lips, I was smiling and giggling through the whole kiss but it was just amazing.

We walked down the stage and watched the rest of the award show with our hands intertwined with each other's.

Later that and night.
We arrived at the hotel after the award show.

"IM SO FUCKING TIRED!!" Shawn screamed and jumped face first into the bed. I bursted into fits of laughter while watching Shawn act stupid.

"Let's go to be then babe because it's been a long night." I say to him and he instantly strips into a pair of track pants and stayed shirtless. I'm not complaining though.....
I also got changed in front of him but I don't really care because he's my boyfriend. And he's seen me naked may times so....ANYWAYS.

i walked into the bathroom to wash my face to find Shawn  looking like a Greek god in the bathroom. He then turned round to me and engulfed me in a hug.

"I love you so much Y/n" Shawn randomly said.
"I love you too muffin, now let's go to bed." He nodded and walked to the hotel bed.
I washed my face and brushed my teeth and walked into the room with one of Shawn's shirts and my underwear.
I crawled into bed and Shawn instantly threw himself on top of me and later his head on my boobs.

"Erm...Excuse me what are you doing??" I joked with Shawn.

"Sleeping." He simply said
I rolled my eyes playfully and lifted his head up and kissed him hungrily and passionately.

"Goodnight baby." I smiled
"Goodnight baby girl." And with that I fell asleep.
