I have a question. Do you believe in Slenderman? My friend Rosalie used to, but my friend Angel didn't. I loved the thought of him, but I never thought he was real. I was wrong, and so was Angel.

My name is Ari Dove. If you've watched the news, you probably heard my name. My four friends and I were reported missing on a camping trip. I've come back, and I get asked the same question; what happened while you were gone?

So, in order to stop these annoying questions, I decided to write down what happened to my friends and I.

Sit down, pet your dog, tell your mom that you'll be busy, and buckle up. This will certainly be an unbelievable ride.

"Look what your dumbass did, you got us lost!" Angel shouted.

"I know that! God! You don't have to keep telling me," Rosalie said, crossing her arms.

"Both of you shut up!" Eliza shouted at the bickering idiots.

Angel glared at Eliza. "Shut up, Eliza! Thanks to this bitch, we're lost! Then, when the wolves find us and eat us, we'll have her to blame!" Angel pointed at Rosalie.

"Well, you didn't need to come in the first place! I just wanted to see if we could find him!"

"What do you mean, 'see if we could find him'? He doesn't exist, Rosalie. Don't you get it?"

"Guys, please be quiet, your yelling and bickering are giving me a headache," Evelyn said quietly, rubbing her forehead.

Angel and Rosalie said nothing more and glared at each other. The constant yelling and bickering was replaced with a awkward silence. Even the leaves in the trees seemed to be quiet.

I don't remember how long we were walking, I just remember the tense feeling in the air.

Thankfully, the awkward silence was finally broken by Eliza. "Guys, could we, you know, take a quick break? We've been walking for a while,"

"Ok," Ari said immediately, sitting on a nearby rock. Angel rolled her eyes and sat next to Ari. Evelyn sat on the grass, leaning back on a tree. Eliza sat down on a stump, looked at Rosalie, and patted the spot next to her. Rosalie gave a small smile and sat next to her. The awkward silence was back once again.

Ari tapped her fingers on her knees. She looked at Angel. Angel was fiddling with her fingers and seemed less mad than she was before. Ari thought this was the perfect time to strike a conversation.

"So Angel, how are you and Violet doing?" Ari asked. Eliza smirked, and Rosalie's scowl turned into a smile.

Angel looked at Ari. "Oh, we're doing good," Angel answered.

"Just good? Angel, is there something you're not telling us?" Eliza asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No," Angel said, looking away.

"You're lying! Oh my god, you're lying!" Eliza laughed.

"Oh fuck off Eliza," Angel said, flipping Eliza off.

Ari smiled. She loved when her friends acted absolutely ridiculous.

"Well, we did kiss a couple times..." Angel trailed off, rubbing the back of her head.

"Really?!" Ari gasped. Rosalie smiled widely, her eyes seem to have stars in them.

"Wow, you guys just don't like to wait,do you?" Evelyn smirked. Eliza and Rosalie laughed at this.

"Oh screw off guys. It ain't a big deal," Angel blushed, rolling her eyes.

Everyone, except Angel, laughed. Then a big gush of wind blew, loudly sounding like the wind was whistling. All five girls shivered.
