How to Train Your Guardian
“Hiccup.” Jack said “Hiccup, wake up already.”
“No. I don’t want to.” Hiccup said and Jack walked over to the curtains in his room.
“Wake up.” He said and he pulled the curtains back so the sun shone into the room. Hiccup hid himself under the blanket and groaned. Jack grabbed the blankets off from over Hiccup and threw them to the floor. Hiccup buried himself in his pillow, and stayed there. Jack decided to do something he knew would wake Hiccup up. Jack ran outside and made a snowball running back in and threw it at Hiccup.
“Okay, okay I’m up now.” Hiccup said wiping the snow off of him. “A snowball really?”
“You are seriously the hardest person to wake up in this whole world.” Jack said throwing Hiccup an outfit to wear for today.
“But a snowball. Anything you could’ve done, a snowball?” Hiccup said and Jack gestured towards the window and the blanket on the ground.
“Oh wow. I guess I am hard to wake up. You know, that explains all the years my dad would get mad at me in the morning.” Hiccup says while changing into the pair of clothes Jack gave to him.
Jack rolled his eyes and sat down on couch in the room. “What do you expect, there’s so much snow on the ground it would’ve been fun to throw more at you. And yes, your poor poor father.” Jack said jokingly.
Hiccup finished getting dressed “Okay, why did you wake me up so early?”
“It’s almost noon Hic” Jack said laughing.
“Still though.”
“Because I’m not going to let you sleep around all day.”
Hiccup laughed.

Hiccup’s POV
Jack left the room a few minutes. I walked downstairs to see him messing with my younger cousin Jenny’s hair braiding it.
“I didn’t know you knew how to braid.” I said walking into the door frame and leaning on it.
“You do now.” Jack said coming over and kissing me on the cheek. My dad and Jenny never had a problem with me or Jack together, nor did Jack’s mom or sister, but his dad always had. He thought of me and Jack a disgrace. I no longer tried to get along with him, knowing he’ll never accept us. “Come on.” He says.
“Where are we going?” I ask knowing that I am probably blushing.
“Just somewhere.” He says and grabs my hand and leads me out the back door.

Jack’s POV
Hiccup has always been one of my best friends since I was little. He went with me wherever I went. Until my father noticed us becoming more than friends when I was fifteen and Hiccup fourteen. I never have seen my dad the same since then. He’s always upset and disappointed at me since then, I can’t be the son he wants, and I’ve accepted that fact and he can deal with it on his own now. I am rarely home anymore, except nights because I always will get some lecture from him about me sinning. I just wish he’d accept the fact that if I’m happy, what does it matter.
I lead Hiccup to an abandoned farm house that nobody’s been to for years. You can’t see it from the small town. “Surprise!” I say opening the door that creaks.
