hi, i'm grace marks.
i've been a video editor ever since my best friend skyla taught me how to on video star.
i later on decided that i could use my only talent and hobby as a way to get money.
i first started getting paid for custom edits on instagram for about $1.00 and $2.00 if they wanted a longer audio and/or if they wanted something special.
i would usually get asked to make people edits at least 8 times a week.
i really don't know how i was doing it.
i then took a hiatus on that account so i can focus on editing people i love.
that one person was
TYLER ROBERT JOSEPH.
i loved him so much.
he was a huge inspiration to me and i also thought he was really hot.
he's 29 and i'm 21.
he's also married so i'll never be able to date him.
jenna is so lucky.
i really wish i could just be his girlfriend for a day.

a few years have passed and now i'm 17.
i decided to try to turn my video editing into a career.
i still work as a waitress though.
i still make custom edits for people sometimes.
i bought after effects because it is more professional than video star and i want to impress people with my edits.
i did get a few opportunities to edit short films for people on craigslist.
it wasn't much.
i was paid $20 - $40.
i would save all the money i got from editing for tickets to tøp concerts.
i've seen them 3 times so far and i want to see them again.
just being in the same room with them means a lot.
their music has helped me get through so much.
anyway, let's go to me now.

the year is 2027.
i've turned my video editing into a full time career and i think i'm doing pretty good.
i've had a small role in editing an oscar nominated film.
i've seen twenty one pilots 5 times and i met josh once.
i made a joke with him where i said "hit me up for editing inquiries" and he thought i was serious.
he asked for my number and email and i gave it to him.
that was 2 years ago.
i snap out of my daydream and go to my computer to see if i've gotten any emails from people who want me to edit for them.

he says "hello grace. i don't know if you still remember this but you gave me your number and email for editing inquiries about two years ago at our show in orlando. i wanted to know if you can help tyler and i out by editing our new music video.
it's top secret so be quiet about it!!!"
"OH MY GOD! I'VE FINALLY MADE IT!!!!"
i yell at the top of my lungs.
i text my friend klara.
"klara!!"
"what is it whore"
"josh dun messaged me and asked if i could edit their new music video"
"yeah right"
"HE REALLY DID YOU JUST DON'T BELIEVE ME"

i then reply to josh.
"OH MY GOD!! of course i remember it, josh!! it would be an honor to edit one of your music videos. you guys have done so much for me so this is the least i can do. <3"

a few minutes pass and i get a reply back from him.
"great! i'd love to have one of our fans help us with our music. send in some of your work and i'll show tyler."

well i'm gonna have to show him my best work.

i send him a clip of a music video that i edited all by myself.
