MADELINE GRINNED AS SHE saw Kol waiting outside the collage, smirking at her with his arms open. She walked into them with a laugh. "Hey partner. We doing this or what?" Maddie asked and Kol shook his head.

"Hi Maddie, yes I am very well thank you, no I haven't died yet, yes I know I look good, you don't look too bad yourself. Let's do this you say? Of course." Kol said sarcastically and Maddie rolled her eyes.

"Shut up. Redhead's here by the way and before you ask, no. Your brother has just made your chances go from zero to minus three thousand." Maddie retorted and Kol looked at her confused.

"How could my brother have possibly ruined my chances with her?" He asked and Maddie scoffed. "By murdering her Aunt. Her and Tyler are cousins." Maddie stated and Kol rolled his eyes as they walked up the stairs. Maddie heard Bonnie's voice.

"Shit. Bonnie's here." Maddie hissed before thinking. "Imagine if I suddenly turned into Lydia." Maddie joked as she turned to Kol who turned to look at her briefly before looking around until realization hit him and he turned back to look at Maddie...except...Maddie wasn't Maddie.

"Uh...Maddie?" He asked, weirded out as she looked at him with Lydia's green, almost hazel eyes. Maddie then looked down and saw her hair was strawberry blonde. "Oh god. Please tell me I'm not Lydia." Maddie begged before the door opened. Kol quickly threw his arm around Maddie's waist and she threw on a smile as Bonnie walked out.

"Lydia? Who's this?" Bonnie asked looking at Kol. "My boyfriend. I heard Professor Shane was here, I was just wondering if he knew what could be going on with me." Maddie played off as Kol just gave Bonnie a grin. "Okay. Well, I'll see you later." Bonnie said walking down the hall as she attempted to think of where she'd seen that boy before. Maddie changed back and sighed as she saw Shane.

"Shane? Have you seen Bonnie?" Maddie acted as Elena and Shane looked up. "No, Elena. She just left." Shane said and Kol grinned. "That's good." Kol said and Maddie grinned as well. "It just makes it easier for us." She said before the two grabbed him and sped out the window.

"Oh my god, Kol!" Bonnie realized before running in and noticing the room was empty.

Maddie and Kol both popped their heads into the library as Rebekah finished her call with Tyler. "Sister." Kol said before seeing the group and smirking. "Look at this. You're even worse than Klaus." Kol said and Maddie laughed. "That pup looks like a unicorn next to Bekah." Maddie stated and Kol laughed.

"Maddie. Kol. Finally, did you bring what I asked for?" Rebekah asked and Maddie grabbed Shane and shoved him in to show Rebekah. "I am many things Rebekah but a failure isn't one of them. Not yet anyway." She said as her and Kol highfived as they walked inside.

"You must be Shane." Rebekah said and Kol and Maddie smirked.

Maddie stood behind Lydia as she examined her nails. The room was so quiet and peaceful before a phone went off. Maddie took her phone out and almost scoffed as she realised who it was. "Hello sourwolf, I heard you barely made it through last night." Maddie said and Derek sighed.
