Ashes , Ashes

Peter stood by tony on the barren red planet known as Titan as each of his team members faded away into Ash.

Only a few moments after, Peter had felt drowsy and dizzy.
He looked up at Tony, who had a strong look of bewilderment.

"Mr.Stark...i don't feel so good"
Peter was stumbling on the Rocky terrain before collapsing into the arms of tony.

"Mr.stark.."
"Mr.stark please.."

Peter continued to mumbled his name before starting to sob.

"m-mr.stark please...Mr.stark..I don't wanna go..i-i don't wanna go"

Tony hugged Peter , before laying him onto the ground.

"you're gonna be ok kid.."

Tony's voice wavered at the thought of loosing anyone else.

Peter looked up at Tony with sad eyes "I'm sorry" , he spoke softly before turning to dust and fading away as the others did before him.

Tony reached out this isn't real
He thought as he crouched towards the ground , alone on Titan.

~4 years later~

It's been a few weeks since all those lost to the power of the infinity stones returned. Including Peter.

Tony walked down the white Halls of the avengers compound , when he came to a room on the left.
He opened the door careful not to startle the occupant of the room.

"Hey kid. How are ya doing?"
Tony asked as he walked into the room.

"Uh , hey mr.stark, I'm doing alright I guess" Peter replied with a tired voice ,as he fiddled with his webshooters.

"Ready for school? I think you're gonna be pretty popular.."
Tony replied sarcastically

"Yeah no kidding , everyone thinks I'm dead! I mean it's been 4 years. What am I gonna say? "Oh I'm spiderman and I turned into dust because a grape had a magic gauntlet" " Peter mocked before getting up and grabbing his books.

"Kid it won't be that bad. A lot of other people are returning just like you! You'll be fine. Although you may have to explain some things to those friends of yours"
Tony explained trying to give a bit of hope to the nervous teen.

"okay yeah. Well, better not be late right?" Peter chimed in

"kid you've been late for 4 years.."
Stark sarcastically replied , before throwing a pair of keys over to happy who drove Peter to school.

Peter stepped out of the car , he saw bustling crowds and his ears rang in the commotion. There were only a few months left of senior year. Although Peter missed out on the majority of his schooling he still moved ahead in the grades as normal.

He walked into the front door of Middletown high , many students stopped and stared. Many spoke among themselves.

"Peter's back!"
"I thought he was dead..?"
"Where has he been? Does he still intern for Stark?"

Peter ignored the chatter , he wasn't about to explain what happened to the whole school.
Instead he walked over to the class written on his schedule .

'Mrs.hudson , math. 221 A'

He walked in , only to hear a few gasps followed by silence. He still down next to a confused and joyful ned Leeds.

"Oh my God , oh my God , dude I thought you were dead! I was at your funeral! What happened? Are you ok?"
Ned asked various questions before being shushed by Peter .
"I'll tell you after class.." Peter responded , ignoring the glares shooting at him from across the room.

Ned nodded and looked back at his notebook. About an hour later the bell rang and the teacher dismissed the students lunch.

Peter followed ned to their usual lunch table and sat down. Michelle passed the table and stopped before walking over to the table and sitting next to ned.

"Peter Parker. Where the hell have you been?!"

She was serious and wanted to know what had happened.

'why does she care?' Peter though before responding.

"Uh...field trip?" He awkwardly responded.

"Yeah right Parker , a four year field trip. We went to your funeral!" She hissed before letting out a exasperated sigh.

Peter glanced down at his food.
"Look it's complicated , I died..I think? When thanos got all the stones-" He cut himself off realizing what he may have just let out.

"Thanos..?" Michelle eyed him , he was nervous.

"Uhm , nothing" his voice cracked during his response.

"Peter what's up with you?" Michelle asked slyly . Ned gulped , and Peter had a strong look of worry. Michelle showed strong suspicion.

His secret may just be out to one more person. As if two weren't enough.
