Chapter Nine

"I'm dating the twins"

Lucas and his friends came over while Liz made them pizza pockets as dinner. They were playing The Evil Within and it kind of made Lucas shout in scared as Luke enters the house in a frustrated face because of Ashton.

"Yo, bro! Come play with us" says Zayn giving him a evil smirk. Luke rolled his eyes walking upstairs to his room, thankfully he doesn't have to work until tomorrow morning. As he entered he threw himself on the bed and hit himself on the baseboard "ow! What a dumbass" he mumbles under his breath taking out his phone deciding to call Ashton and maybe apologize for his actions, he puts his phone on his ear hearing the patterns of beeps. No answer. He was frustrated and groan and dial again until he receives a call back. Nothing. Ashton wasn't answering.

"Fuck!" He throws his phone to the floor and lays down on his stomach with the pillow right at his face pressing it down sinking in it. He groans loud as his mum heard him all the way from the room. It's a small house even if they live in a two story house. His mum enters the room asking "what's wrong Luke?"

"Nothing" he mumbles.

"There is something, is it because of Ashton?" Giving him a confused look, then Luke pulls away from the pillow looking at her "no, what makes you say that?"

"You're never so mad unless it's about Ashton or work but you're not at work right now." She sat next to him on the edge of the bed.

"Yes, it's about Ashton because I was becoming an asshole" he said.

His mum gasps and hits him in the head "we do not speak like that Luke. You know better"

"But I am mum, I'm being an asshole to me and now he won't probably talk to me." He looks down as his mum rubs his back. "Well you can do something nice like a date so you two can forget" he thought about it maybe a date at a fancy restaurant that Ashton loves to go to will fix everything. "Thanks mum!" He says giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Liz nods giving him space to think about this whole plan. He had to go back to Ashton's place and do it before his parents come back from a trip, and hopefully Lucas don't come involve.

After hours of thinking he comes downstairs and sees the two boys playing still. Luke hatred them, they were like their bullies from school but instead from school, his childhood. He didn't like Zayn much at all he was a smoker and a druggie at such a young age. He's two years older than both twin brothers. He smoked at age 13 and made his twin brother smoke in a hiding place so their mum wouldn't notice it.

Luke couldn't tell or he will be beaten up to death so he had to stay quiet. Lucas already told their mum he smokes when he was 16, and now both Hemmings brothers are about to be 18 in two days and Lucas still a druggie and hasn't changed a bit at all but only his hairstyle has changed so people wouldn't get confuse who's who. Lucas hair is down as a flippy and Luke's in a quiff, and sometimes Lucas would raise it up but Luke doesn't know why but he hopes his brother Lucas isn't doing anything stupid with Ashton.

"Well I'll talk to you guys later I have to go" says Luke grabbing his keys on the key hanger by the door. Zayn looks directly to a mirror as a hole decorator and smirks as Luke leaves.
