Cameron
Hays, back to school nanaman.
My school is the most prestigious one in the country.
Either way, school is still school.
Chapter 2
Problem with the Transferee
Why exactly?Because of the new transferee.
You see, transferees here are super rare, kasi those who can afford the school's half-a-million enrollment fee are the only people who can stay.
It's very rare dito na may ganon ka yaman, thus, same old faces, same old places.
The people here are happy to see a new face.Especially one who is as handsome as he is.
Dapat pati ang ugali, that's why I fell for
Corian Fletcher...I was engaged at the age of 16, so young, so naive.. so... stupid...
Guys like Corian are the types who show their sweet side, their false personas.
And as soon as they find out about the truth, they leave you, they turn their backs on you...'Hoy tumingin ka nga kung saan ka lumalakad!
There he was, staring down at me.And did I mention my height was 5'3?
'Ha! Sino sa tingin mo kinakausap mo ha!' Tawa nito, sabay tulak sakin.
Etong ga--
'Cameron!'
Kahit di niya mukha, isa itong trainer sa judo, and can easily take down people larger than him.'Jon, okay lang ako, tara na.' Alok ko, sabay hila sa kanyang kamay.
I don't need more publicity, I don't need more people staring at me.
'Okay lang ako promise, dumeretso ka na sa klase mo. Kita nalang tayo ng lunch.'
'Stay out of trouble kiddo, or ulo ko yung pupugutin ng tatay mo.' Sabi nito.
'Opoo.'
You'd think that by being rich it would make me more popular...But no, it didn't.
In fact, it made me more alone..
She thinks she's higher than all of us just because she's rich.
Let's not play with her, she can go with the rich kids.
I'll hang out with her, hell I might get paid!
Rumors surrounded me as I grew up..
I learned to be independent, isolating myself from others.
'Class, may bago tayong transferee, at dito namin siya ilalagay.' The teacher announced, breaking the silence.
'Welcome, Mr. Raiden James Morray.'
He said, as the said guy came in.Ugh, it's that asshole in all his handsome glory.
'You'll be sitting next to...'
I took out my earphones from my bag and connected it to my phone.
Playing my Piss off playlist I made.'Ms. Connor.' He continued, as I sucked in a sudden breath.
I coughed in surprise as he eyed the chair beside me.And let's say that for the rest of the day, the girls would not stop glaring at me.
...
'Hey Cam..' Jon started.
'Yeah?' I said absentmindedly, scrolling through my phone.
'Why do you hide your tattoo?' He asked silently, looking at my covered wrist.
'It's simple really...'
He stared at me, curious for my answer.
'I don't want to meet my soulmate...' I said silently, not bothering to look up at him.
He sighed and continued to eat his food.Last class of the day, Math.
I swear to God, this is gonna be the reason for my death.
And to make matters worse, the man-- no, boy, beside me, would not stop tapping his pen on his desk.
'Pwede ka bang tumigil? Nakakairita na eh.' I whispered to him, looking back out the window beside me.
'Tch, like I care for your well-being.' He shot back, tapping his pen again.
I glanced back at him and down to his pen, catching a glimpse of his open wrist.
I sucked in a breath at what I saw, and looked back to the front of the class. As he was about to say something, the bell rang, saving me from confrontation.
I rushed out of the class, not giving that guy a chance to even catch my shadow. No way.
No way in hell..
I bumped into Jonathan as I got lost in my thoughts.
'Woah there kiddo, calm down. What's wrong?' He asked.
I looked up at him, scanning at his eyes, seeing him genuinely concerned.
No, he wasn't like that.He isn't like them.
'I-It's nothing Jon, I...'
He looked down at me, his eyes showing more concern.
'I just want to go home...' I said, clutching my wrist.
'Okay, come on then.' He said, putting an arm on my shoulders.
I leaned into his warmth, getting the comfort I seeked.
It was fine.
Everything was fine.
