Party and Bullshit

We walked towards a huge mansion with our arms locked, my eyes widened when I saw the amount of cars around the house. How many people have been invited to this party? Who's party is it anyway? Leon told me it was just a small birthday party for one of his and Anabel's old friends, but this was nowhere near small. Someone must be awfully popular and loved.

Leon unlocked our arms and held my hand while we walked in. The house was just as huge as it looked from outside. I could see people drinking and smoking from left to right, couples making out, and half naked people but everyone seemed to stop whatever they were doing just to wave at Leon, I guess he was awfully popular and loved too. Everyone's eyes were on us, is this how it feels to be near a celebrity? Seriously.

"Hey, I'm going to walk you over to Anabel and a few of her friends while I go and say hi to a few people, aight?" Leon said, smiling and holding my hand tighter.

"Alright." I said, smiling. Actually kind of relieved that I know someone else here besides him.

We made our way towards Anabel and her friends. They were all so pretty and seemed so friendly. Anabel's face lit up when she saw me and gave me the biggest hug ever which was sweet. She began introducing me to all of them.

"This is Elena." She said pointing to a pretty brunette with hazel eyes and the most perfect eyebrows ever. "Elena, this is Alexa." Anabel said pointing back at me.

Elena and I exchanged smiles. She seemed really nice, I could tell we would be friends.

"And this is Melissa." Anabel said pointing to a blonde girl with blue eyes and a blunt in her hand. How can one look so pretty while smoking? "Melissa, this is Alexa." She said pointing at me once again.

"Hey, Alexa!" Melissa exclaimed then looked around the room before saying, "Want to take a hit? I won't tell him." She said with a smirk.

What does she mean she won't tell him? What's wrong with taking a hit?

She was handing me her blunt but I felt a tight grip around my wrist before I could take it from her.

"W-what do you think you're doing?" Leon looked at me with cold eyes.

"Um, I was about to take a hit before you interrupted me.." I said, moving his hand off my wrist.

"Atleast have the decency to do it when I'm not around." He snapped.

"In my defense, I didn't even know you were there." I snapped back.

He looked away and grabbed my hand. We were silent for awhile. I don't understand why he even reacted that way to me smoking.

Oh my god, I'm a horrible person. I just remembered the situation with his sister being in rehab.

I didn't know how to apologize so I decided to start a new conversation.

"So - where's the birthday girl? Isn't she your friend? I haven't seen you talking to her." I asked.

He completely let go of my hand. Okay...

"She doesn't remember me." He said, looking at the ground.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"She lost her memory, but she's there. I'll introduce you." I heard a crack in his voice.

---

I could hardly see the birthday girl there were too many people surrounding her but they all started dispersing once they saw Leon.

"Alexa." Leon said. "This is Sarah.. Daniels, the birthday girl." He said, clearing his throat and pointing at the girl infront of us.

The smile on my face disappeared and my jaw dropped to the floor. I knew exactly who she was. She was Erik's sister. When the hell did she lose her memory?

Was I in Erik's house? Why would Leon even bring me here? How does he know Sarah? Before I could turn around and ask Leon all the questions I had, I heard a familar voice.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

I turned around to find Erik standing there, frozen in one position with his fists closed and his eyes glued to Leon.

Why the hell is Erik talking to Leon like that? Last time I remembered, Erik was the reason behind someone going to rehab, not Leon.

I turned back to Leon and could literally see him turn red. It was scary to be honest. He's gotten mad at me a few times but I've never seen him like that. He was red and shaking. Before things could get violent, I did the unexpected. I walked to Erik and grabbed him by his arm taking him far away from Leon.

"Shouldn't you be in there calming down your boyfriend?" Erik said with a fake smile.

"Shouldn't you be nicer to him after sending his sister to rehab?" I snapped completely ignoring the fact that he called Leon my boyfriend. I didn't have to explain myself to him anyway, that was Aimee's job.

"Really? Is that all he told you?" He started laughing, with his eyebrows raised. "I have no fucking reason to be nice to him." He said, seriously this time.

"You sent his sister to rehab, you douche!" I shouted.

"He's the reason Sarah doesn't even remember shit! Then, he has the nerve to bring another girl to her birthday party and that too my gir- ex girlfriend. What the fuck man." He shouted back.

"I'll leave if it bothers you." I said while turning to the door.

"Wait. How long are you here for? C-can I get your number?" He asked.

I was already out the door by the time he said that. How the hell does he just piss me off and ask me for my number? I'm going straight to the hotel, I'm really not in the mood for Leon either especially after finding out he's not any better than Erik.

I was in the cab when my phone lit up.
