Chapter 1

It was a bitter day in the heart of New York City. I woke up to the the sound of snowballs hitting windows then I realized that snowballs were hitting my window. I slightly lifted my beige woven curtain to see my best friend Kiki standing there with a large grin plastered on her face. She was wearing the yarn sponge bob hat I had gotten her with a puffy purple coat and with a snowball packed into her right mitten.

I got up and slipped into my grey jeans , with my blue top, a pair of timberland boots , a puffy pink jacket and a Patrick star hat to match kiki's. I ran down the stairs of my house and grabbed a granola bar. I kissed my dad good bye and skipped out the door.

"GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT" Kiki screamed. "What" I said mocking her tone. "I got us a reservation at sarabeths for breakfast! Stefanie , Julian, John , and Andreas are going to meet us there. I was super excited because first of all sarabeths lemon ricotta pancakes are the bomb and second of all I haven't really seen any of my friends since we all left for high school.

Kiki and I took a speedy walk to sarabeths to find out our table had been taken by some tourists! Ughhh tourists. So instead we all walked down to the waffle truck. I had a hot cocoa and shared a Nutella waffle with Stef. Then I saw Kiki and John sharing a waffle. Bleck typical Kiki and john always fawning over each other. I love them both but this is annoying.

I knew that Andreas was with some girl named Ellie but he never was really with her or talked about her. But what ever typical Andreas being all mysterious and shit. It was sorta uncomfortable for me too because Julian was eyeing Stef the entire time I wanted to slap him and see if he would react or keep staring at Her. I kinda felt left out but then again I was out for someone else.......
