Everything always happens to me. Broken bones, teeth, health problems and now, cancer. Yep, I have cancer; leukemia to be exact. Stage 2 and it sucks. The worst of it, my twin doesn't know about it.
My twin and I aren't very close. Shes a girly girl whereas Im a sporty tom boy. We cant stand each other and if god for bid someone compares, she will freak! The only thing kind of similar is our names. Her name is Paisley and my name is Brayley. I'm the younger one, only by 6 minutes but she makes it as if I was younger by a year. She's miss perfect and has everything a guy wants: blonde hair, skinny body and blue eyes. Me? The exact opposite: brown hair, chubby body and brown eyes. She's one of those popular girls in high school. She's captain of the cheerleading team and is dating the quarterback on the varsity football team. That's the kind of life every girl wants, except me. I'm in every sport are school offers: basketball, volleyball, softball, swimming, tennis, track, rugby. You name it, I'm in it. Paisley gets all the attention since she's miss perfect. Our parents go to every one of her performances and even takes off work for them but do they go to mine? Nope, not one. I've always wanted to impress my dad but he's never seen it. Paisley is a daddy's girl and gets everything she wants from him: car, phone, laptop, the latest fashionable bag, EVERYTHING. I'm lucky to even have my drivers license. I have a car too but not as fancy as hers. She has a convertible and I have an old rusty jeep. But I shouldn't complain at least I have a car to get me from practice to practice.
