The phone rang.

Bob picked it up.

On the phone was his sister; she had news.

"Bob," his sister began, "I have something I need to tell you. Something important."

"What is it, Lisa?"

"Mom's dead."

"What?"

"I killed her."

"Why would you do that?"

"I.....Bob, you won't understand."

"Why. Did. You. Do it?"

"You'll think I'm insane."

"Try me."

"The voices told me to."

"What voices?"

"He said his name was Azazel... He said she was the one that killed our little brother! He said that she murdered him!"

"And you believed him? How could you be so wreckless?" Bob's voice rose with each word until he was shouting. He would probably start hearing complaints from the neighbors in a bit, but he didn't care.

"I'm sorry, I just... Bob, there's a lot of blood, and I can't breath, and the voices won't stop-"

"Lisa! Calm down!"

"I can't. I can't. Bob, please, I need you to help me."

"Why should I? After what you did to Mom, how can I ever trust you again?"

"Bob. Please. I need your help. I don't know what to do. You're the only person I trust enough to tell. I'm begging you."

Bob shakes his head.

"No, Lisa...no..."

He hangs up the phone.

Bob thinks about the situation and battles between turning Lisa in or acting like he doesn't know what happened.

Bob's ringtone blares, cutting into his thoughts. He picked it up without looking, expecting it to be Lisa again. It wasn't.

"Hello? Is this Robert Vasali?"

"Yes... Who is this?"

"I'm detective Bryant. You wouldn't happen to know the whereabouts of a girl named Lisa, hm?"

Bob's heart threatened to beat out of his chest. How did they already know? He glanced at the clock, shocked. Almost two hours had passed since Lisa called.

"Umm, no. I don't have a clue. I don't even know a Lisa!" He laughed. His nervousness caused him to lie, he knew immediately after saying it that the dectective would be suspicious. Of course he knows that she's my sister! He thought, doing a mental face palm.

Bob was nervous; he didn't know what to do. Aftee 30 minutes, he called back Detective Bryant.

"I... I think I may know a Lisa."

"Really? That's great!"

"Why do you ask?"

"We think she might be involved in the murder of your mother. Did you know this?"

"N-no."

All of these lies that he was telling were just making it more difficult. He eventually decided to just confess. She deserved to go to jail anyway, right? She did something terrible. "She killed her. I don't know where she is now, but I know for a fact that she killed my mother. She called me and asked for help about 2 and a half hours ago."

"Thank you, Robert. You did the right thing."

And that was the last anyone heard from Bob and Lisa Vasali.
