I walked out of my last class and noticed Liam standing with Clover. I was glad Clover was keeping an eye on him, I wouldn't be able to do it. But still, who the hell is she?
I walked up to my dorm room where my roommate sat on her bed asleep. I was quiet, and tried not to wake her up as I put on one of my favorite dresses, this time with cute leggings and a nice little jacket. It was getting chillier with Fall and Niall would be taking me out at seven. I was sitting and curling my hair with a wand curler, when I noticed my roommate wake up. Her hair was pulled back in a sloppy bun, and when she rolled over to face me, I could see layers of makeup caked on her face. Her eye makeup was smudged as was her lipstick.
"What time is it?" She asked in a hoarse voice.
"6:30pm" I said. Her eyes widened and she shot up. She pulled the blankets off and ran over to a mirror, and she laughed.
"Where were you last night?" She asked while she used a makeup wipe to fix her makeup.
"Why?"
"Everyone was at the frat party last night. You totally missed out." She smiled at me, it was the kindest thing she had ever done.
"If I had known, I would've been there. I could use a drink." I said and returned a smile.
"How old are you?" She asked.
"Almost 20." I said, I hope she didn't mind that I said I wanted a drink.
"Well, I have a friend that looks like you. If you want to borrow her ID sometime, you are more than welcome."
"Thanks." I was actually thankful. Maybe we could have a friendship, it got off to a rocky start but, what's her name? "What's your name? I'm sorry."
"Oh, no problem, it's Dakota. But you can call me Kota if you want. And you?"
"I'm Kennedy." We gave each other a smile. Before I could get to know her better I realized it was two minutes till seven. "Shit. I got to go, let's talk again sometime... Kota." We exchanged another smile and I sped out of the room.

"Wow. You really shouldn't do this for me. Not for the way I acted." I say to Niall as he pulls a chair out for me. But he just smiles and sits across from me at our fancy table. I marvel at the expensive interior of this restaurant. Chandeliers, champagne, and a live band playing very beautiful slow music. I notice how under dressed I am and feel awkward.
"What are you thinking?" Niall asked. But before I could reply, a waiter with a very formal attire asks us what we would be having. Niall orders something in French as I panic to find something I would like quickly. It was mostly French and foods that looked very sophisticated, so I randomly pick and stutter over Coquilles St. Jaques. The waiter gives me a look as if I am pathetic and walks away. Niall starts laughing, his face turning slightly red.
"What!"
"Do you have any idea what you ordered?"
"There was a fish in the picture." I said, feeling silly.
"You ordered scallops!" Niall laughed.
"I'll have you know, I love scallops!" I laughed back.
"Blehg! I don't know how you could." We laughed together until we noticed half the restaurant staring at us. Everyone was so fancy and elegant, so we calmed down.
"I love it when you smile." Niall said. The candle at the center of our table flicked a golden light around Niall's eyes, and it was beautiful, I couldn't help but blush.
"Thank you." I said quietly. Niall reached his hand across the table to hold mine. He rubbed my hand, which was smaller than his, while still looking lovingly into my eyes.
"I love you so much, Kennedy. there is so way I could leave you for someone else. What you saw wasn't a kiss." He said, looking sincere.
"I love you too," I said, and wiped away a tear, "and I believe you. I trust you, I should've let you explain earlier."
"No, I like it the way it happened. Otherwise I wouldn't be here with you, tonight, on a beautiful date." He squeezed my hand slightly. I blushed and squeezed his hand back. He stood up slightly to lean over to the table and we kissed gently, an explosion of butterflies overwhelmed me. We broke off the kissing, remembering we were in a classy restaurant, and sat back down. Our waiter came with our food and roughly placed our meals before us. He didn't bother to ask us if we wanted anything else and left us feeling awkward.
"Well then." Niall laughed and took a bite of what looked like a regular chicken salad.
"Lets just hope they don't scoff at us for the way we chew." I laughed with him. We started chewing loudly, smacking our lips, and being overly obnoxious to get a kick out of the snooty people. We received many glares and lots of dropped jaws, which only made us laugh harder. We were focusing harder on being annoying than actually eating the fancy food, and left it to go cold. I actually didn't like scallops, I just told Niall that so he didn't feel bad for paying for it. Niall stood up from his seat and bowed to me, making me blush, then he snapped his fingers to the beat of the band playing across the room.
"Do you care to join me, my lady?" Niall said loudly.
"Isn't this getting out of hand?" I ask, starting to feel conscious of everyone watching.
"Of course not! Living young, and wild, and free. Now, let's dance!" Niall said, and grabbed for my hand to pull me to my feet. I gasped quietly and he suddenly spun me and caressed me to the music, everyone was watching. Niall spun me back out and started to tango, while forcing my arms to go along with him.
"Niall." I tried to hush him.
"Hmm?" He said through his loud humming, "Is there a problem?"
"Yes." A man with strong arms and a tight black shirt, with embroidery saying Security on it, said. Niall stopped dancing and turned to face him, with a calm facial expression.
"What?" Niall said shortly.
"You're being a disturbance to the rest of the people here. This is a quiet place, and we ask that the both of you leave." The man stood taller than Niall, and looked much more powerful. Niall simply shrugged and reached into his pocket to pull out crumpled up money, and slammed it on the table.
"This should cover the bill." Niall said as he tured to grab the unopened bottle of wine on our table. "Have a nice night." He said, then grabbed my hand to walk us out of the restaurant.
"Uhm, that was definitely too far, Niall." I said, slightly irritated, and hungry.
"Hey, memories." Niall smiled and quickly pulled out his phone to take a photo of us, but I couldn't make myself smile.
"Niall, can we just go back to your place?"
"Only if we're officially back together!" The right side of his lips tugged into a smirk. He looked so damn good when he did that.
"Okay!" I said, and through my hands up in defeat. His lips cracked open into a big smile, and we both got into the car. We sat still for a moment, not starting the car, until Niall turned to look over at me.
"You truly are beautiful." He said. I couldn't contain my blush, and leaned in to kiss him so he wouldn't look at it. We held the kiss for awhile, slowly turning our heads, and opening our mouths, until we broke it off. I took a deep breath, we hadn't kissed like that in a while. And damn did it feel wonderful. Niall started the car and we sped off back to the college campus, it was a quiet drive, but that was okay with me.
We pulled into the guys dormitory parking lot and we got out, holding hands up to Niall's room. We swung our arms and it gave me an overwhelmingly feel of happiness, there were butterflies having a parade in my stomach. We walked up to his room, and shut the door behind us, and turning on the radio. I changed the radio station to the most popular rock station, and sat on his bed to peel off my shoes. Niall did the same, except he also took off his shirt. He then turned to plop, face down, onto the bed, only wearing his dark jeans. I took off my leggings and jacket, and laid next to him. We both groaned for no reason then turned to face each other. I had to pull my hair back out of my face, because the curls were overwhelming me.
"Don't ever cut your hair." Niall said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because it drives me crazy every time you flick it off your shoulders." He smiled lovingly. I purposely flicked my hair off my shoulder while pulling a funny face, putting a lot of emphasis on the double chin. He chuckled and pulled me into a cuddle.
"Yes, just like that." He said quietly and kissed my forehead. I looked up at him and ran my fingers through his hair, messing it up. He smiled then pulled me in for a kiss. Our lips connected, and the butterflies returned, making me excited. I grabbed the belt loops of his jeans to pull myself in closer, and placing his hands around my waist. Our kiss escalated as I felt Niall's hands slowly move down my back. I giggled a bit through the kiss from excitement, making Niall smile. He pulled me in closer to him so our chests were smooshed together, and our legs intertwined. The kiss got rougher, and Niall slid me up on top of him, to slide my dress off over my head. We both smiled and Niall ran his fingers up and down my bare back, giving me chills. I leaned back down to reconnect our lips and Niall's hands went down my back to my bum. He rolled us over, so I was underneath him, so he could stand up. He started unbuttoning his jeans and slid them off, taking his underwear with them. He climbed back over top of me, completely bare, and helped me join him in the birthday suit party. The kiss returned, with more tension, as we caressed each other. Niall ran his fingers through my curled hair, letting a rush of lust and excited break over me.
"I love you." I said through gasps.
"I love you too." Niall groaned. We let ourselves slip away together that night. I had missed that feeling, missed it a lot.
