Grayson?

Hi. I'm Skai. I live in a trailer with my mom and her boyfriend Ben. Ben has been dating my mom for 3 years now and we are packing up to move out. My dad's name is John and my brother's name is Grayson. My brother lives with my dad and his girlfriend Vanessa who is the age of my brother. My brother is 16. My dad is dating a 16 year old girl. My dad is 54. He is about to propose to her. At least that's what Grayson told me.

Me and my brother are a little distant because my dad cheated on my mom with Vanessa. I decided I was going to stay with mom and Grayson chose my dad. I hate my dad so much! It doesn't matter about anyone else's feelings, only his. My brother and I still go to the same school. I don't talk to him though. I only talk to my two best friends Bo and Shelby. Along with the occasional argument with my enemy Krista.

"Skai it's time to go. The bus will be here any minute now." My mom screamed just as I was done writing in my diary. On the bus I head straight to seat 21 where Bo and Shelby are sitting.

" Hey Shelby. Hey Bo."

" Hey. Did you hear that crazy story about your brother?" Bo and Shelby ironically said at the same time.

" Jinx" screams Shelby.

"Wait guys the story. No haven't heard of it."

"Oh well it's all over gossip girls web page."

"Yeah. It's pretty bad too."

I got up and walked off the bus and straight into the school where I headed straight for my locker. Out of nowhere I got a text from Grayson saying to meet him in the gym right away. I went to the gym and sure enough there he was. Except he looked a little different. Maybe because he had a black eye.

" What happened?" I screamed.

" Dad punched me."

"Why?"

" Long story."

"Oh."

"So can I stay at your trailer tonight."

"No. Not after you betrayed us."

" Please. It's an emergency."

"Fine."

"Sweet."

" You didn't let me finish Grayson. First tell me the story."

" Fine."
