(69) Saying 'Goodbye'

Jessica's POV

I hesitantly take over the suit, confused.

Why did she want me to take over?
She doesn't seem to be in pain or anything.

I see that I'm surrounded by every one of the animatronics.

Now I'm even more confused.

Galaxy walks over, holding something behind her back.
She whispers into Toy Chica's ear, then she whispers to Toy Freddy, and so on.
This keeps going on until they're all whispering with one-another.
But no one whispers anything to me.
"What's going on~?" I ask.
They all turn to look at me.
I see Aphmau's dad, the murderer, sitting down at a table, watching us curiously.
Turning my gaze back to the animatronics, they all stare at me with weird smiles.
I back up.
"Can someone please explain~?" I request, getting a bit scared.
No one speaks, but Galaxy pulls something out from behind her.
My eyes go wide.
There in her hands is a jar with a white soul in it.
Leo holds out another jar with a black soul.
Chica holds a jar with another grey soul.
Mangled holds one with a grey soul.
And finally, Jason walks in front of me, handing me a jar with a white soul.
I take it from him and he steps back.
"What is all this~?"
I feel oil well-up in
my-Aphmau's eyes.
"Happy Birthday Jessica."
Galaxy's words make the oil fall endlessly down the face of the suit.
"What~?"

You're finally leaving Jess.

Aphmau tells me.
I try to wipe away the oil, but more falls down.

What about you guys?
We're going to find a different way to get out of here.

I can't take my eyes off the hat in my hands.
"Why are you doing this~? You don't even know me~" I say.
Galaxy and Leo chuckle.
"Aside from you too~" I add.
"You deserve it most Mari." Bonnie, Andy, tells me.
"N-no I don't~" I try to wipe away the tears again.
"You've been in here so long and let all of your friends leave without you." Toy Chica, Chelsy,  says.
"Besides SB and SF, ye be deserving it most." Foxy, Katrina, says with a huge smile.
The tears finally stop.
"You're going to see Aaron again." Freddy, Joey, tells me.
"You'll get to see your child that you never got to meet." Toy Bonnie, Hye'Jin, says.
The tears come back again as I think of holding the kid I could have had right now.
"So ye should just be accepting of t'is." Mangled, Uta, says.
A sob leave my mouth.
"Are you ready~?" Both Jason and Aphmau ask at the same time.
I nod my head as fast as I can.
"We'll all open the jars on three." Chica, Sara says.
I firmly grip onto the lid of the jar I'm holding, ready.

"One," Toy Freddy, Denis, says.
"Two!" JJ, Andi, and BB, Laurence cheer at the same time.
"Three~" A mix of both mine and Aphmau's voice says.
I twist the lid off the jar and so do the others.
All five of the souls come rocketing out of the jars and toward me.
They lift me up into the air.
I see Aph's dad standing, staring in awe at the situation.
Light surrounds me, making a clear path directly up from the floor to the roof.

Unlike when others leave their suits, mine doesn't fall off piece by piece because Aph is still inside.
Instead, I slowly leave it.
As the souls circle around me and I get closer to the ceiling, my head is the first part to leave.
Then my arms.
Next my torso.
And finally my legs.
Aphmau falls in the suit and Denis helps Jason catch her.
I feel my long black hair hit my shoulders.
I catch a glimpse of myself in the reflection of a window.

I look like an older version of my child self.

I'm smiling and kind of short.
My chocolate eyes glimmer of hope and true happiness.
But there's a hole in my chest where my heart should be.
I'm wearing a beautiful black and white dress that looks like the one the Marionette, female version aka Aphmau, wears.
I do a twirl in the air.
Two of the souls enter my body and I start to float a bit faster.
Then two more enter and I can almost touch the ceiling.
I look down at everyone and wave.
Real tears fall down my face.
"Thank you all so much!" I yell to them.
They all cheer and wave and shout their goodbye's.
My gaze goes back to the roof as the final soul enters my body and I go through the roof; the light fully engulfing me.

Light.
All I see is light.
I feel safe though.
The light slowly fades to red and I'm standing in front of a red tree.
"Where am I?" I mumble.
"Jessica?!" A familiar voice shouts.
As I'm turning around to see who is, I'm pulled into the tightest huge I've ever been in.
When they pull away I see it's Aaron with the same hole in his chest as me.
Tears cascade down his face.
I wipe them away my with thumb.
"I missed you so much." He chokes out.
"I misses you too." I manage to whisper as a tear also falls down my face.
Our foreheads touch and I close the gap by pulling the live of my life into a passionate kiss.
Pulling away Aaron says,
"Let's go home."
He takes my hand and leads me to a red lake.
A red old man sits next to it fishing with a red fishing pole.
"Have a great time in heaven."
He tells us.
I smile.
"Thanks." I say.
Putting my hand over the hole in my chest and so does Aaron.
We turn and smile at each other.
Hold hands with the other one still firmly placed on my chest, we jump into the red lake.

Heaven here we come.
