each day, both boys would either go to the dance room, or the music room. teaching each other something new was something both boys looked forward to each day.

walking home afterwards, occasionally talking about their life and the news.

"so, did you know that a new guy will join our class?" jimin asked, kicking rocks lightly.

"of course i do. that's what everyone else is talking about nowadays. apparently he's an extremely talented student who's got the people's eyes on him.." yoongi said, looking down.

"wait? really? oh my! i'm excited to meet this person." jimin replied, with excitement in his eyes.

the next day, the new student joined the classroom as said before. everyone's eyes were on him, and he seemed nice. a kid going by the name of "jeon jungkook" was the only topic people were interested in.

good-looking, talented, funny, strong and kind? everybody wanted to be his friend. especially jimin.

so you could guess how happy he felt when the teacher assigned jungkook's seat to be next to jimin.

unfortunately, at the back of the room sat yoongi, jealousy seen in his eyes.

jungkook sat beside jimin and looked at his new seat buddy. jimin, being the outgoing person he was, started a conversation with jungkook.

"so you've just moved here?" jimin asks.

jungkook nods, "yeah. my parents got sick of each other, and so i came here with one of them. you look like a cool guy to be with, what do you do in your spare time?"

inside jimin's head, images of his neighbour's window flashed in his head, followed by the texts that him and yoongi share.

"i talk to my friend often, if not then i'm practicing dancing."

"dancing? i love dancing! should we show each other some moves someday? maybe today?" jungkook asks.

jimin thought for a bit, and nodded. "sure, i suppose i'm free today."
