HARRY POV:
The new boy seemed nice enough. He had messy black hair, like I did, sea green eyes, a swimmer's build, several scars, and a suspicious tattoo on his left forearm. When he got sorted, the sorting hat seemed to be arguing with him, probably asking to see his memories.
"GRYFFINDOR!"the hat shouted.
As he came over to our table, we see that was crying.
"What's wrong, mate? "asked Ron.
The new boy, Percy, ignored the question.
-___________- TIME SKIP. WHALE THEN.
After a few weeks, Percy finally began to respond to our attempts to strike up a conversation.
During DADA, about a month into the school year, Snape was picking on Percy especially. "If your not scared, why don't you show your classmates the tattoo on your arm? " Everyone went silent. Nobody had asked, but everyone wanted to know about it.
Percy shook his head. It surprised everyone to see that he was crying. "I can't, SNAPE! YOU know why. Dumbledore told you why! But if your convinced I'm a coward, fine. It's not like any of you treated me decently before, anyways." With that he stormed out of the room.
After dinner, a bunch of us Gryffindors went to catch him in the common room and get him to show us his tattoo. Of course, it didn't go to plan.
