Louis wasn't particularly happy with the fact that he, Josh and Harry had to walk three miles to the nearest car park of a supermarket just to hot wire the best car, which was rather shit to be honest. He wasn't happy that whoever it belonged to had neglected to fill up at a petrol station and was even more upset when he had to do an oil change was well.

"We're just going straight to Liam, fuck whatever we were supposed to be doing on the way," Louis grumbled whilst they drove down the motorway. He just wanted to get back home and get Harry situated and have him heal his friend and this whole thing would be over with.

"I didn't even want to do the things we were supposed to do anyway," Josh muttered, looking out the window at the empty fields of nothing but dead grass and dying trees. He didn't even want to accompany Louis on the damned search that two four months, and he especially wasn't happy that a healer happened to be a former wolf that he didn't even want to be turned in the first place.

"We should make it there before the sun comes up, there's no one out here and no police to stop us for speeding," Louis informed the two who both grunted simultaneously in response. Both of them were too tired to even acknowledge that they had done something in unison.

Harry was especially tired at having used so much strength and one of his abilities to take down Samuel. He wanted food and sleep, but he couldn't sleep no matter how much he tried and he had eventually given up on trying to do so.

"When we get there, there'll be blood bags in the cellar so you could eat, Harry. Sorry we can't stop right now, no one will be out and it's best if we just keep going or there's a possibility we'll run into more trouble and you haven't the energy to fight them, Harry," Louis told the boy in the back seat whose head lolled to the side just to glance at the older vampire's eyes showing in the rear view mirror.

Louis stopped talking then, allowing the car to fall back into silence with the radio playing shit songs softly. He didn't dare turn up the volume on the radio because he didn't want to hear Josh complain about it. His hands were gripped tightly round the steering wheel and his eyes glued to the road.

Louis hated driving, he hated going place far away, especially when driving because he absolutely despised to drive back. He'd rather have either ran or flown to wherever he was to be getting to. Or he'd rather not to have gone at all. He didn't like going places in general.

He just hoped they got there at the shit estimated time and not have to stop to sleep again.

Harry didn't recall what happened the rest of the night before, but all that he was aware of was that he wasn't in the back seat of that shit car, nor was he in a shit motel either. He was laying on a very comfortable bed with a small body wrapped up in his arms and soft, light brown hair tickling his chin and lips.

Not even a minute later a groan came from the body he was holding he looked down at blue eyes before the sleepy fog cleared from his brain he realised he was holding a now groggy Louis.

"Well, welcome to your new home until you mature as a vampire," Louis mumbled sleepily and pressed himself further into Harry's bare chest, his breath tickling his torso. "Which, before you ask, isn't until the next fifty years... sorry."

"You're laying on my leg and its fallen asleep," Harry muttered quietly.

"That's too bad, you're quite comfortable and I don't feel like getting up," Louis chuckled and Harry groaned in response, too tired to try and push at the older vampire in his arms who had suddenly decided it'd be best to cling to him.

"What time did we get in?" Harry asked, looking down at Louis who had finally let him go and rolled over and off his leg. No matter how hard he tried to remember, he couldn't and all that came up was him knocking out when the sun came up.
